I've just been outside and a lovely clear sky but, and in no way due to the exposure of the news, the light pollution is terrible. I've read that I should, if in a less polluted area, be able to see the Milky Way. Fat fucking chance from here.

It's possible to get to a lot of decent locations without walking, the A82 goes past some awesome scenery and right through Glencoe itself.

I can't use that raw in Canon's DPP, I had high hopes of converting via DPP and pulling out more data. Do you have the CR2?

I see what you've done here; explains why it looks so high in DR (mega fill light push). I've had a quick play:

PS - fucking good picture Clown, get back there with some filters and / or expose for sky and foreground and manually blend and it'll be a belter. This'll work at dusk, dawn or even a milkway way shot (assuming no light pollution).
