seems normal these days when peeps leave feed back weeks after buying.

peeps who sell stuff on on a regular basis are more or less only ones who leave feedback sharpish,

Why don't sellers leave me positive feedback after I pay immediately. Seems like they only use it in retaliation to whatever you leave them, which is a load of bollocks considering all the buyer has to do is pay.

I've pondered the same quite often, however "retaliation" is probably not the right word - yeah, it often is in case you're left negative feedback - in some cases it's futile retaliation, however sometimes it's more honourable - i.e. needing to state your case yourself.

If I buy something, and pay immediately, then I decide to be an arsehole, claim I haven't received it or anything, and I've already been left positive feedback merely on the fact I've paid up - that doesn't give the seller time or place to put across their case, point out you have proof of delivery, signatures etc, or more to the point to warn potential future sellers that this buyer is a scamming bastard.

I think these days there's too many dodgy bastards around to continue being naive on Ebay.

so, some Canadian twat won my escaflowne dvd set, it was shipped in 2 parcels to save the bidder shipping costs, one gets there the other is returned to me by canadian customs for some reason. half arsed prick leaves bad feedback to me and refuses my offered of a full refund (covering his shipping costs for returning the item) as he dosent want to return it then files a complaint with paypal locking my account.

this has pissed me off no end, paypal have just lifted restrictions after a lengthy convo with their shitty cal center. and for the first time ever i have bad feed back

I've had similar bad experiences with international shipping. I will only sell in the UK now.

thinking on ebay this, heavily modded xbox, 2 iceberg coolers for gx and cpu, cpu and ram upgraded to 1ghz and 128mb ram, built in ir mod so switches ion and off with remote, built in wifi dongle, 3x750gb hdd with XBMC on all 3. and as you can see comes in a sexeh slim case and with component or vga cable for upscaleing to 720p/1080i

prolly never be a media device that will ever match it unless either 360 can run unsigned code on recent firmware or ps3 gets fully unlocked thru tux as xbmc team are porting it to tux

i was thinking of mabe £350 reserve on it as a 1ghz upgraded mobo on its own when for $1,500 on ebay a few months back but every one else seems to think its too high a reserve, and i dont want somat i worked too hard on going for too little

Please Note: I shall only Send this item via Special delivery in the uk as i dont have the orignal box and the fact that the nations Postman Pat type blokes have a habit of mishandling goods so its best to send via the more secure method:) item comes in @ 1kg and you can check royail mail jobs parcels post at royailmail.com for special delivery costs to see that im not making a profit on postage

I've heard good things about these people, Yaka -
eBay UK Shop - courier: parcel delivery, courier service, delivery

Dunno if you want to give them a try.

I'm no longer an Usborne organiser since they threatened to cancel my contract if I continued to sell on eBay, so am selling off all my stock. These are all at retail prices on my eBay shop, but if anyone from FH wants to do a deal on a few I'm open to offers - I have 3 boxes of these books cluttering up my living room and really need to get rid.

eBay UK Shop - Tru Books: Activities, Games, Puzzles, Early Readers, Gift Ideas

Also, just listed my saxophone since I seriously need to upgrade my car so am resorting to desperate measures to get the cash together.

Yamaha YAS 25 Alto Saxophone - excellent condition! on eBay Alto, Saxophone, Woodwind, Musical Instruments (item 120154074416 end time 27-Aug-07 19:15:53 BST)
