the guy that got it from you prolly tried to oc it or firmware flash it to achive better results. next time say it is being sold as is and no refunds will be given.
i once sold a 8500le card on ebay to some one, he sent it back saying it was not werking, and the guy bragged about it on a hardware forum even pasted the ebay link for the auction i did for the card
if you sell something as is with no guarantees then are you still not obliged by some law to refund if the thing is faulty?
i ask because im selling something ive bought and not used and i cannot guarantee if it will work, although the peeps i bought it from say they guarantee it does. so i assume it does work.
you can ebay stuff as untested. and if its broke as broke for spares/repairs.
just make sure your rite it in big red fionts or something and make it clear theres no guarentees if it will work.
in the past i sold 2 broken sgi 1600sw lcd screens as broken, pics were clear and showd bid cracks and they sold for more than the one i ebayed as working in a seprate auction. dont know how some peeps are so stupid
Seeing as it was a 5p listing day yesterday, I threw a few things on for sale, probably only of interested to board/card gamers and fantasy gamers though...
So, the lamp in my oven goes and I order 2 new ones from Ebay. They turn up, and they're completely different than the auction photo. Because of this, they physically won't fit in the oven, they're too big.
So I email the seller and tell him this, and he tells me to post them back. Which basically I can't be arsed doing, so I have another use for them in another light in the house, and tell him I can get them off another site.
I then tell him I'm going to leave neutral feedback because it was a genuine mistake really.
He then goes off his trolley, accuses me of ruining his night, and then tells me how Ebay isn't worth his time.
So what the fuck has all this got to do with me? Wanker.
