Here is the difinitive list of good console games, I have noted the ones which have (better) PC ports....

Resident Evil Series (PC)
Tomb Raider Series (PC)
Metal Gear Solid (PC)
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
Zelda 64
Some PC Ports (Which are invariably worse)
Possibly a couple of N64 platformers (Mario .etc)

Plz dont spam me.

Console games... are... fun...
Really.
Plus, they're often a lot better made than 99% of PC games...
I've only been around since the Megadrive 2 and I still realise this.

I thought i;d give some ofthe game boy advance games a quick go form that link embattle poseted, but neither of the ones I've tried (tony hawk, gran turismo) seem to work in any of the emulators :( can anyone recommend one?

Also can someone recommend a N64 emu that works with a radeon card? The ones I've tried (ultra HLE ? ) prefer glide cards, does noone write emu's for modern gfx cards :( or do i just need the right wrapper?

Project 64 is the most promising emulator for N64 which can be found here www.pj64.net.

GBA emulators are still young so most probably require a lot more work :)

Why not just buy a console to play it on? Far more enjoyable ...

Plus unless you have a joypad and stuff, it really isn't the same ...

TBH its hard to get hold of the older consoles and it costs MONEY. I have a gamepad and I'm thinking of getting hold of a N64 one which uses an adapter to plug into the USB port :)
