I used to drive past a place called Snitterfield, some kind soul had always added a bit to the n on signposts, makeing ii into a perfect Shitterfield.
Very childish, but always made me laugh :)

There is a street in manchester where all the bars are gay bars. It's called Canal street on one sign the C and the S are gone :D

'Anal Treet' anyone? :p

CANAL VIEW in Selby suffered a similar fate despite the fact the sign was about 20 foot up a house :)

I live near a town called Uckfield, its bisectted by the River Uck, for gods sake :)
They've made the sign as small as possible, but still people get in there :)

heh, I'd never noticed that before - mind I've not been up around there for a little while, will take a detour next time I need a cheep laugh.

There's a gay bar near me which everyone calls "The Knob in the Gob" (it's actually "Hob in the well").
Well the funny thing is, there's a sign on the front door that says....


"Enter at rear"!
