How did you find BW?

I came here originally to play Half-Life as I needed a proper gaming dialin.

I came back again during the death of BW and sat reading what was happening and stuck around since

I remember now.. I joined up after having played LMCTF on BW, with a load of other people. Used to play on AOL dialup (where "play" = 4000 ping), then Force9, then BW.

Happy days..

erm, back in... uh 1998 i think.. i'd just gotten online at home and a brother of my mates was a bit of a QW'er... he mentioned it down the pub one night and i trundled along the next day, to my joy they had Action Quake 2 servers, and the rest as they say, is history

I found BarrysWorld in a cup of char in a staff canteen with some ugly fucker called Ben aka Ted sitting opposite me.

Been a rollercoaster ever since, tho still glad I did what I did over the past several years.

I have no idea at all how I get here. I think it was a bid to escape the girlfriend I had at the time.

BW has (badly?) affected my life, causing me to split up with one of my exes (thank you thank you thank you), and I met another one of my exes via these forums *waves*.

Hmmm , I remember the RA2 community as a bunch of people slagging each other off and accusing each other of cheating until in the end they dissapeared up thier own arses, but maybe that was just towards the end .
