Method beat Inferno Skeleton King, already. Game is too easy ffs.

SK is basically a set piece encounter with added damage and hp on the boss. As BloodOmen said, act bosses are probably more unforgiving if you make a mistake

The real challenge is getting through all the rare and champion packs between your starting point and destination. The 5-6 mob affixes make up some evil combos

The Butcher in Hell 1 shots my friends monk (he's playing with me atm) and thats Hell, skeleton king is easy, I can just stand in melee all the time without dodging on my barb and pound his face in without worrying about the incoming damage, just can't compare SK to act bosses :p its faceroll, I can't ever see SK being a hard encounter.

Played through Act 1 on my Witch Doctor with an IRL mate and had a great time. Just rescued Cain and dinged a mighty level 5 on my Demon Hunter. Got to say that the shared stash and shared crafting are really good ideas. I do worry that it might get a bit samey but I'm hoping as the difficulty increases there'll be more thinking and tactics and less RSI-inducing mouse-button spamming!

Nice graphics, great locations, interesting lore and the classic Blizzard attention to detail are all there. The one thing I always felt Blizz got right with WoW was the feeling that you were adventuring through formerly populated and vibrant lands that are now in near-fatal decay. The tombs, bits of statues, overgrown roads and isolated communities all built up a real feeling of loss which I felt added a lot to the game (and was something DAOC just didn't have at all) and I think D3 is very much in that vein.

All in all a very slick, very enjoyable experience so far with the niggling exception of the first-day login pains.

So confused, is that "new cow level" actually being serious, or is it some joke which is just getting reported everywhere because it's "funny"?

I'm thinking it's completely fake, to a point i don't even know why i'm mentioning it!

If it just affects the Demon Hunter I'm not surprised no one noticed since no one plays that class :)

I haven't been affected by the log in problem. Though when I logged in last night there was a 30 second queue or something. Nothing major.

I'm not sure if it's a regional issue or just people being incredibly unlucky but D3 is being utterly raped on metacritic because of all the issues... It probably won't make a difference but it's fun to see the reactions...

fun game! need to try and stay away from the official forums though it's full of whining man babies who are bitching about everything :d

managed to get to lvl 22 on my wizard but I kind of lost the plot due to the people in my co-op game being intent on steam rolling everything and rushing through the story :< messing around with a monk atm around lvl 10 if anyone wants to add me (game tag thing's in my signature) for some casual pwning!

Bah, I remember the days when people played games for fun...

now every time a game game this is released its just a giant rat race for max lvl first.

People think it makes them special to get to max level as fast as possible. Then they get bored rage and whine on the forum because there is nothing for them to do, then they quit and move on to the next game. Rinse and repeat....

It's also partly the developers fault for giving them a way to do it.

I'm getting that from the shock bolt one with the explosive rune, its great to have a wall of beasties around you, turn on shield and then electrocute everything till it explodesand body parts start flying around.

enjoying wizard immensely, just finished act 1. halls at the end were gross, and cutscene was really nicely done.
