Disable the P2P under options downloader.

Then it goes to straight HTTP download and is generally faster as its all CDNd.

Done that. Made not much difference either way.

At best I'll be online at 8pm. Just boiling a brand new Chilli and Enchilada's will be the first proffering that volunteers itself from my silver pan of awesomeness. That should keep me occupied for a good while

Not yet no, they've been very naive with the launch tbh they should have known before launch day the number of people wanting to get online and got additional login servers on standby, they've been a right balls up of it... reading the d3 forums atm and theres sooooo many people demanding refunds, complaining because they took the day off work to play it theres even one poor fucker thats been trying to login for the last 6 hours, he finally got online for 5 minutes then had to log off due to an error and now cant get back on.

Yeh it sucks a bit tbh for all these people that booked time off; but it was to be expected. However, not to do much in pretty much a whole day is a bit shit, I dont know what they've been working on but not a lot judging by my experience tonight.

Its silly though, as soon as they get on they will forget the rage and not want a refund

Don't worry CorNokZ, this game sucks donkey balls. I tried it to level 10 last night and meh, it just doesn't have any appeal at all. It's like rehashing an old wrapper into a recycler and then calling it a revolutionary cake. I'm damn lucky i got it free and didn't have to pay a cent for it.

Played it most of last night and completed act 1. Absolute triumph by Blizzard, excellent game. The character development is very good, you don't feel as though you start off weak and the rewards for not rushing to the level exit are good, mini bosses, extra lore books.

My only problem is that some mobs seem out of whack, those walking trees are a ballache because they slow the pace down, other than that tiny issue, it's perfect.

I am so glad they left PvP out to perfect the PvE, would be nice to build a PvP game around the game now though.

Hmm. Well i found that I was able to login/logoff at will yesterday until about 5pm, when I started shooting zombies in Arma (Dayz is awesome ). Later in the evening I helped a friend get online as he was having trouble and with some tips he got in within about 15 mins (most of that spent waiting for hero list). I then logged in about 10:30 to give some items I had to another friend who'd just got online and I had some starter blues for him, took me 3 or 4 goes to get online.

So seemed like a good(ish) launch from my POV :/
