Isn't every game a clone of another previous game? :p Doubt D3 will be as good as D2 but one can hope I guess... the amount of fuck ups they have had in developing it is worrying though.

Eh, the witch doctor is pretty similar.

I'll be playing the demon hunter, really liked it when I tried the game at a gamescon last year

And yeah, witch doctor is pretty much the same. Spiders instead of skeletons, giant toads instead of golem ;)

Necro got pretty boring fast tho tbh, pets were fun but honestly chain raising pets / recasting golem and spamming decrep or amp damage was zzzzzzzz

Maybe, but having millions of minions doing all the fighting for me made it all worthwhile.. ;)

Btw Tesco are doing £5 off selected preorders and D3 is included works out at around £27.91 and if you know a mate that works for Tesco ask to use his discount to bring it to £24.01 :)

I've managed to resist using my Diablo 3 beta invite for all this time :p I'm not going to fall off the wagon at the last minute, waiting for the full game so I can enjoy it at its fullest.

You might want to restart - it may well patch when it goes live which will save you having to download it when the servers are getting hammered.

When I tried to download it, it was very slow so going to leave it going all weekend I think...that's the full (currently locked) client though.

Am getting a physical copy so won't be downloading the main game.

You can download the main game and have it ready for your physical copy to arrive- that contains the CD key needed to play at all
