Awesome game just awesome it's not 100% stable though a few times i've been disconnected forcing me to replay the dungeon im in from the start :(

Also don't do MP on your first playthrough for some reason everyone is an impaitent bastard and wants to blaze through the levels/lore/characters before you can blink.

Yeah, my first run will be solo all the way. Learned it in D2 and especially in wow that lore rarely interests players when loot is a bound.

Luckily in diablo games re-running a dungeon is less annoying, especially due to said loot.

I think I shall be rolling....a Demon Hunter! And going for all the fun avoidance talents so I can be really, really annoying! :)

I rolled a demon hunter as my main in the end, despite planning on playing Barb, right up until character creation!

6.5 hours to go!

Rofl. Gz Blood. :)

I got to lvl9 on my Wiz this morning then had to head off to work. Friend of mine is on Act IV normal at lvl30 and I was about to post here about how he was a big nerd, but Blood takes the biscuit!

And yeah Blood, we know who's the "freddy first 60" it seems :D

Wow that Skeleton King fight is intense to shit, got absolutely slammed on first attempt but nailed him second try. Dropped a rare crossbow. FS.

I'm going to solo the story so people don't have to wait for me listening to all the dialogue

But after that I want to coop with people, so simply open up your game to friends and we can quick join in your ongoing game

i'd advise solo unless your doing it with friends. i went into a public game and the cunts jsut kept skipping all the dialogue and it wasnt stuff they'd seen before it was act2+

Yeah I plan on completing it solo to begin with to get a good feel for it and to enjoy the story at my own pace. I also like to clear every single last mob from a zone and uncover the complete map. It's a bit of OCD really in games like this.

I'll do that when I get to Inferno, but until then I'm trying to go against my OCD tendencies. :p

I wonder if a diablo 3 forum section was too much, or perhaps a starcraft/diablo/blizzard section.

This might be one of those games that last for a wee while ;)

Cash spunked. Tesco's have sold out so I've gone for the digital fail.

And fail it will be:

a few times i've been disconnected forcing me to replay the dungeon im in from the start :(

LAN PLAY FFS

Anyway - all this guff if it ever comes down - 7 HOURS and counting on the awful Blizzard downloader - which will be probably be throttled by Virgin when 4pm comes around as it's bittorrent traffic. :(

Tis live. A single forum but with some thread prefixes (we can then use those to move to additional forums if/as when required).

Yeah I can't find it below £40 anywhere.. it's sold out in the places where it's below 40..

Maybe your best hope is doing the £22 Game thing.. bit of a hassle but if you have Zavvi and Game both up town it won't take long.

Disable the P2P under options downloader.

Then it goes to straight HTTP download and is generally faster as its all CDNd.
