So I messed up my download. Did the download last night, then discovered I had 3gb patch to DL this morning.
Then I get to server screen and cant find the server, discover my client is in "US mode" so now downloading another 5gb now ugh!
At this rate, I'll finally get on next weekend!!

Aada, you and Toto should come hero, and then we can gank some shitty villains!

I did exactly the same thing when i finished my DL was pretty pissed.

Couple of things need some work/tend to get annoying;

- Bit of a lack of tutorial. Most are done fine, but some are just brushed over. Chat system in particular could use a word or two.

- Powers/abilities/iconic/etc descriptions. They all work on the premise that you know the things that tutorial isn't exlpaining Like for example; gadgets, can only have one turret out AND the iconic power flying drone can't be out with them. Basically need a respec now, since one of them is good, other a waste of points.

I guess tis all could be solved with a power room, similar to champions where you can first test out powers before investing.

Also PVP server gets a bit annoying at times, but it's also fun. Flying should be nerfed in combat.

Legnds PVP has a problem because there's no description for powers. So it's try, guess.

The chat system is being fixed in the update and there will also be an Auction House

Ain't it the truth! Playing on my little hero character when he is level four last night and I got ganked by a level ten, and then a level 24! Meanwhile you can't join PVP matches until you are level nine. Doh.

Yup it's good fun. You get the usual couple of bugs bug ultimately it's good fun. Can't comment on end game as I'm only level 20

I'm loving the PVP servers, how many mmos these days are ballsy enough to allow such ganking. I was lolling so hard as a level 5 when i got ganked in like 1s I was like WTF, then I started grinning.

Yeap, It's not like it's an all the time event, but sometimes the amount of consequent ganks gets on ze titties.

YEap, it's te old "Graaah....oh well." mentality that goes along with any PVP server.

Then again, the upside is that i beat down a level 25 with my level 10 gun-nut, which was very VERY satisfying. Not to mention the random fair fights around.

I would like to see collection things go accountwide, running about for the same ? marks around town really isn't fun.

Decided to try the controller role in an instance and had loads of fun, even if it is as appreciated as a healers jos in other MMOs

Did the mentor thing throw you nito a whole new storyline btw? Would give replay value too.

It does indeed. Like the Superman one, the Batman one is looking good too. Not too happy with the Wonder Woman one although this is probably down to the voice of the actress and the look of the character being wrong for me.

Just so you know, Brawlers who fight whilst flying do three times the damage. It's a bug lol. And yes, my guy Terry Tibbs is a Brawler+Ice build.

Well Mister Darkmoon is now 17(or 18), started on friday so, pretty pleaed with the result especially since i was out on both nights on the weekend

Though it has a bit of a problem with missions whizzing by your level(become low level) too fast, but guess that's a regular MMO thing.

Aso wanted to ask; can you retry some solo instances you've done? Lost my feat because i accidently used my joker pistol on supergirl

Gotta say, some of the best features in DCUO are quite clearly;

Combat - Never gets old, PVP and PVE, both have a lot of different fights(even to start with) and even killing one same NPC doesn't get old.

Style - Great that they went with the cartoon style instead of say, more serious comics or gods forbid the gritty way of the world. Makes it absolutely fun.

Amount of voice acting etc - Talent, it haz it.

Last but not least by any shot - No stupid stomach turning morality and questioning your evil ways on villain side!

Excep maybe calculator, he gets a bit...iffy at times. I'd put him in a partyballoon blender just to be sure.

It's insta spells and street fighter style combos. A few ubersexual abilities have a 2 sec cast time. Blocking is important

Well this villain turned out nicely, some sorcery+one hand. Fun combo, probably going to go healing route.

Also have to say(pic 2) some scenes that happen are just wrong on many levels.
