with respect to the discussion over payments for individuals who have been put on short term redundancy etc. It really is not world class - it is good but it is not world class...

Not a Tory voter but Raab is fairing quite well and Starmer is doing ok also

When Starmer started I immediately thought of this when thinking of Corbyn. Starmer = a nice wine, Corbyn = rancid vinegar

Gotta work out how to get the tourists there. Before they can eat in a cafe.

2 meters on a plane would be interesting. And even if they managed some sort of separation on a plane. ( i seen proposals) the air recirculation would screw everyone

From what I have read there will only be National tourism until at least the end of summer. I think probably International tourism will only start once there is a vaccine. At that point tourists will probably need some kind of certificate to come here, I guess other countries might do similar.
It will be interesting to see how the different countries start to open up again after this.

So personally some additional changes now due to coronavirus and communicated via text/letter include my DMARD blood test being every 6 months rather than 3 and my required Vitamin B12 injection also changing from every 3 months to 6, although the text states the liver normally stores about 1 years worth.

Whats happened to the free travel zone in europe? I wondering how they handled in law the closing of boarders in that zone.

So the Army is stating that from a logistical point of view we have gone from 240 customers (delivery points) to nearly 50,000 in the 25 days the Army has been helping.

@Wij seeing as you are our procurement expert how would you manage this scale up?

That is only schengen which is on temporary stop. I believe that opening up the area is viable in time - it is the same as flying within the Union OR within US or China

I read something about the Schengen area rules, in essence it seemed at the time the EU made some noise about it but logically looked the other way.

Actually Schengen agreement has a provision for temporary closure in case of emergency, or internal security issues.
Can see current situation here: Temporary Reintroduction of Border Control - Migration and Home Affairs - European Commission
But how does that work cause most of the roads don't have guard posts and such any more do they? Have they suddenly posted guards on every border. Or just said to the population if they wouldn't mind awfully not driving down the road over there for a while?

Knowing Spain they'll just put cops on all the borders.

The room under my stairs is amazing. So much wildlife.

Also found a new game. Go into the loft and walk across the rafters without falling through the ceiling.

That’s not a procurement problem. It’s a logistics one.
