When Starmer started I immediately thought of this when thinking of Corbyn. Starmer = a nice wine, Corbyn = rancid vinegarwith respect to the discussion over payments for individuals who have been put on short term redundancy etc. It really is not world class - it is good but it is not world class...
Not a Tory voter but Raab is fairing quite well and Starmer is doing ok also
Nurse shortage causes Nightingale hospital to turn away patientsReports in Sweden is a that patients are being turned away from London Nightingale due to nurse shortage but I can not find a reliable source - anyone find one?
Gotta work out how to get the tourists there. Before they can eat in a cafe.Screens between tables and sanitary welcome kits: How Spain’s tourism industry is preparing for life after lockdown
Oh well, not quite normal but I'll take it.

2 meters on a plane would be interesting. And even if they managed some sort of separation on a plane. ( i seen proposals) the air recirculation would screw everyone

Whats happened to the free travel zone in europe? I wondering how they handled in law the closing of boarders in that zone. From what I have read there will only be National tourism until at least the end of summer. I think probably International tourism will only start once there is a vaccine. At that point tourists will probably need some kind of certificate to come here, I guess other countries might do similar.
It will be interesting to see how the different countries start to open up again after this.
That is only schengen which is on temporary stop. I believe that opening up the area is viable in time - it is the same as flying within the Union OR within US or ChinaWhats happened to the free travel zone in europe? I wondering how they handled in law the closing of boarders in that zone.
Yeah i do. Haha.
Yeah i didnt want to try and spell Schengen so used boarders instead and got that wrong anyway lol. That is only schengen which is on temporary stop. I believe that opening up the area is viable in time - it is the same as flying within the Union OR within US or China
But how does that work cause most of the roads don't have guard posts and such any more do they? Have they suddenly posted guards on every border. Or just said to the population if they wouldn't mind awfully not driving down the road over there for a while?Actually Schengen agreement has a provision for temporary closure in case of emergency, or internal security issues.
Can see current situation here: Temporary Reintroduction of Border Control - Migration and Home Affairs - European Commission

That’s not a procurement problem. It’s a logistics one.So the Army is stating that from a logistical point of view we have gone from 240 customers (delivery points) to nearly 50,000 in the 25 days the Army has been helping.
@Wij seeing as you are our procurement expert how would you manage this scale up?
