I've had a reaction to a vaccine before and it was shite. Yellow Fever I think. Broke out in a massive sweat and thought I was going to pass out a couple of minutes after the jab. The doctor got me to lie down and got me a lollipop like I was a three year old - worked though and I was fine after about 15 mins!

Also not sure I'd be cycling to my vaccine appointment - or doing any exercise whatsoever for a few days afterwards:

Sure Mr Anti-Vaxxer.

From your article:

in-depth review of 145 cases of myocarditis in the European Economic Area (EEA) among people who received Comirnaty and 19 cases among people who received Spikevax. PRAC also reviewed reports of 138 cases of pericarditis following the use of Comirnaty and 19 cases following the use of Spikevax. As of 31 May 2021, around 177 million doses of Comirnaty and 20 million doses of Spikevax had been given in the EEA
Five possibly linked deaths out of 197 million doses of vaccines not actually being used here.

You do like to focus on complete irrelevancies don't you.

Oh look, another article that's 5 months out of date...

Anyway, I must be a pretty bad anti-vaxxer if all my shots are up to date, apart from the booster which I will wait for 6 months after my last jab for. However I am very much pro-informed consent so it's good to know all the potential side effects, so they can be managed properly.

Anyway our Nordic friends don't see it as an irrelevance:

Even the Welsh suggest leaving it a couple of days before exercising:

I mean you can ignore medical advice if you like - I know after my AZ shots I avoided aspirin for a few days based on the advice of the people administering the jabs, and would have been in touch with my GP if I'd had any of the tell tale headaches that showed the onset of VITT. Luckily I had no issues, so had no problem with jab 2.

It's from your article. The one you linked to kick this shit off!

Are you saying you didn't bother to read your own article properly?

Anyway. I won't be worrying. In the same way I don't worry in the slightest about any other injection, ever.

From your source (again)
The European Medicines Agency (EMA), a medicines safety body, analysed cases across Europe and found:
  • Pfizer: 145 cases of myocarditis and 138 cases of pericarditis out of 177 million doses given
  • Moderna: 19 cases of myocarditis and 19 cases of pericarditis out of 20 million doses given
  • Five people died. The review said they were all either elderly or had other health conditions.
I'll be on my bike the same day as my booster. The vaccination centre is 20 miles from home and I've this to play in on the way back:

Well it's against medical advice in the country you live in, but please do crack on if you feel you know better. I'd probably drive - after all you can't be too careful now can you?

There's a few cases kicking around in one class - the response from the bossmen is meh it's near tht end of the year - just crack on and teach them.

Almost like doesn't matter if they catch covid during the last week of school, because they won't be our problem anymore.

Does it matter?

Kids are more or less totally immune. Parents and grandparents should have had their jabs, and be on to boosters by now.

It's an arsehole's disease now. And the kids in class with covid have arsehole parents. We ain't getting around this - as can be seen by the fact that the boss is now "crack on".

What is the point of (completely circumventable) vaccine passports if our schools don't give a shit any more? What's the point anyway, tbh. Covid's over for anyone who isn't a dick.

There are 3 vaccination centers locally, all 3 have stopped walk in vaccinations/ booster shots.
The only way in is by making an appointment online, which allegedly if it doesn't chuck you off gives a date for some time mid January.
It's all going rather well around here.

Behind a pay wall, but o_O

If true, then we can lock our sights firmly on our governments. A lot of the research in Wuhan is paid for by the west because we've made it illegal to do here.

Scientists have for a long time said "ban all of this research, even world-class biosecurity measures cannot keep viruses secure".

Biggest danger to the public has always been government.

Interesting that it's not paywalled for me.

Also, that the people in the article also should be declaring their conflict of interest - that they've a book to sell.

But still, I've always thought it was a very likely explanation.

78,000 daily cases now.

So many people I know going down with it. I've never known so many people to have it throughout the whole pandemic. No-one is very ill though, which is great.

Dumb bitch.

A scientist should give scientific advice. If the government wants to give different advice then fair enough, but he should be able to freely voice his expert opinion.

She a Tory by any chance?

Covid passes now for all entering the country with new recommendations on Monday which will probably be that you need a vaccine pass to go to the pub or to a restaurant.. I 100% agree with this. If you do not get vaccinated either by decision or because you cant then you should be excluded. If you cant have the vaccine you are probably at risk any way so should keep away from people. I have gone nearly 2 years without any of my team getting CV19 this is still the case however it is getting closer... a temp worker couldnt start because they have it and an employees partner ... they are still testing negative at the moment... however we were all in the office with her on Tuesday..

Another mate has got it. That's 7 people that I've seen in the last 4-5 days now. Still waiting for my PCR results.
