I'm not getting why gyms are moaning so much about lock down for a variety of reasons;

A - Most the gyms I've seen moaning and staying open are proper meat head gyms ie not the kind of gyms that are very welcoming to 'outsiders'. All the chains etc that attract more... normal people don't seem to be making a huge fuss.

B - why can't people just rent or buy their own equipment to use at home on a temporary basis? Better yet the gyms could rent their shit out.

C - If your mental health is at a point where the only thing that keeps you going is going to the gym then you really should be seeing someone about that in the first place and it's kind of negligible for the gyms not to raise that with customers that have mental health issues.

D - are they really just doing it out of the goodness of their hearts or is because they're missing out on lots of money (like everyone else?)

I have a school friend who now runs a gym and since day 1 he's been anti lock down, covid is a lie etc etc, because he's very fit (working in a gym would do that) so he's alright Jack.

There was a great headline that translates (without any context) to simply THEY ALL MUST DIE i must admit i was so shocked i had to click to find out what it was about, not sure if i was relieved or disappointed it was just about a bunch of mink
Still Mink farms should be abolished.

Yeah i think we will survive without it, most of the UKs mink and other fur farming went to Denmark after the ban in UK but its a dying industry no need to prop it up further

One of the biggest shitholes in the UK.

I rode from Cardiff to Bangor once (four day thing). Was pretty great for the whole thing apart from when I went through Merthyr - where a chav in a beemer punishment passed me, then stopped (his girlfriend in the passenger seat) and started having a pop because I was riding on his bit of the road.

I'd stopped about a twenty years earlier (for work) and formed an opinion then. It hasn't improved.

You heard it here first, the cure to covid is being nice to cyclists.

It says everything about their attitude towards students, we've got their money, we call the shots now.

Problems with security..
Lets build a fucking fence..

The exact same middle class academic idiots deriding Trumps wall.

That article mentioned one university...which other ones are doing this?

Most unis (and private companies that run student accommodation) have been doing the same and similar things all over the country - where have you been?

The Mail has found an easy way to make covid seem less scary, just turn all those nasty reds and oranges into shades of green.

No fences in exeter. They had the students split out from the general population because there was a big prevalence of the virus in the student population and not in the locals. Its sensible.

Yes they had general isolations in a fair few Unis because many had caught Covid.
