COD4 cd key problem

Ive purchased COD4 over steam and its downloading, yet i already have it installed on my PC already without a cd key. Is there anyway of finding out the steam CD key so i can put it in my COD4 file. Would save me a few hours of downloading.

To skip the comments about neighbours.

No. The key is locked to your steam account and cannot be transferred to a normal installation nor to another account.

another question regarding punkbustter.. i have it installed / updated but i keep getting kicked as im ignoring some queries. Any clues? ty

for reference ALL steam download, and Direct to Drive etc CD keys are a different type, they are never transferable

as for the PB probs:
remove it, reinstall it from the website, update it.
should normally fix it.
if not swear at it a lot, and keep trying. PB is a pile of old cack

and are you running anything secondary ?

i had to disable Steam Friends Overlay, and Ventrilo overlay program - if PB detects ANY Direct3D program running at same time it assumes its a hack and boots you :/
