Hmm, nice assumption without any bases mr. redknapps lovechild. Come back with evidence etc.

Considering I spoke of respect for a certain italian referee just a couple posts ago seems to throw that comment out the window.

u hate redknapp and guillet, that 2 out of 2

that 100%

refs dont count

i cant remember saying anything about redknapp, chodox said plenty enough for everyone.

Most of the "newer" football pundits arent very good. And no commentator/pundit is near to the ability of Andy Gray (he can make the odd strange comment but he knows more then most pundits put together)

People like Ruud Gullit have forgotten more than Andy Gray has ever known about football. Just because hes not as articulate as Andy Gray, doesnt mean hes not a better pundit. Unless Gullit comes out with a load of bullshit (which he doesnt) then you should listen to what he has to say. Leornado was another I enjoyed listening to, because he had ahcieved it all.

REdknapp (jnr) has grown, he really was really bad when he first started, but he has passion and he argues his point which is refreshing. It's always fun when he and Gray do not agree :)

TV pundits get the jobs for a reason, you may not think they know very much, but they obviously do. Remember that they were all pro footballers and many of them coaches afterwards. You do not have to agree with them, but you should respect that they know what they are talking about.

It the way half the pundits talk that just get on my nerves, redknapp is so "english" and so biased to a couple of teams it can get annoying at times. The reason I like andy gray is because he came keep neurtality in discussions much better then any other pundit....

as for commentators I wont get started, but i will just say that the commentators that used on Stv (scottish ITV) are awful, i cant watch celtic/rangers in the championsleague on that channel due to them, especially if they playing english clubs.

And though pundits may know what they saying, alot of them get things completely wrong (else you wouldnt have arguements between them) and generally it the same ones making the contencious view that starts the bickering. Then there are the ones that arent very articulate in the way they speak which makes me want to poke their eyes out as I sit there going "wtf you on about"

David Pleat is the biggest idiot going. My 14 year old sister knows more about football than him.

He's not a pundit though, he's an itv commentator, they have a tight budget, he was the best they could get :p

thats a lie ... itv commentators could be improved by paying a blind homeless guy £10 a match. Still do a better job :p

Lampard managed to conduct himself with complete dignity, one the only chelsea players taht managed it.

Though there would have been a reaction from other teams also, chelsea have been one the worst behaved teams towards referees for a few years now.

They wouldnt have chased the ref around yelling threats and insults all the way to the dugouts :p followed by a tirade on tv ><

To be fair most of them were reasonably well behaved if you dont count crying like pansies
Drogba, Ballack, Terry? and a few others were the only ones kicking up a fuss and usual the media blew it out of proportion

Drogba/Ballack/Terry/Bosingwa seem to be the one that blew up, the rest went round and congratulated Barca etc and took it with some pride.

Ive seen players like Ronaldo get booked many times for not getting simple decisions like free kicks before, imagine if he got kicked out of CL because of what he beleived was 4 not given penaltys. Remeber i said what he beleived, my point here isnt which where penaltys or not its about how the players percieved it.

most players at some point in their career get booked for appealing against a decision. 2 years running man utd had penalties denied in cup games that were key to us going out of the competitions but didnt have uproar like this.

And also, look at the way Fletcher reacted. Wrongfully sent off, missing the final yet he didnt argue with the referee, he walked off the pitch calmly.

Drogba is a disgrace, he got sent of in the Final last year for slapping a player then turns round and says something along the line that he wish he had punched vidic instead.... then he reacts like this the other night. No wonder chelsea are running out of patients with him.

Doubt it, Hiddink is said to have a say in who stays and who goes this summer. Given that he's publically backing Didier all the way i doubt they'll be quick to shift him.

like say liverpool v man u they have jamie redknapp and gary pallister ect
or arsenal chelsea lee dixon and gullit

It's a real shame he's leaving. Even the players who I would of got rid of in a second have become valuable members of our team under Hiddink. Malouda and Ballack look like new players. I feel more confident under Hiddink than even under Mourinho.

Uefa to sanction Arsenal for fans' behaviour at Manchester United game | Football | guardian.co.uk

So Arsenal are set to be punished for their fans behaviour, but as yet no word on punishment for Chelsea? Something is rotten in the state of Denmark...

Thats fair enough we deserve the fine (if its a fine Platini will push for us to be kicked :) ) And if history teaches us anything Arsenal find who threw it and ban them for life. I do think its stupid that its been made into a news story seeing as Cesc got hit by stuff at least twice during corners at Old Trafford looks like the press enjoy kicking a team while they are down :)

I think i heard Chel$ki will find out if there will be any action next week after all the reports are entered.

come to think of it,
Didnt chelski throw a fit at another ref "Anders Fisk", because of a Drogba sending off ?
also vs Barcelona? think it was 04/05 and the ref then retired due to having enough of
bitchy clubs, player and fans

The thing is, had Barca lost they would be bitching just the same. chelsea and Barca are the worst losers in European football. You do not hear United, Arse and Liverpool players ever come out with so many excuses, their players tend to leave it to the managers.
