I have overcrowding & a chipped tooth. That I cannot help because it's something my rotten mother gave me. However, the fact I've had a filling due to lack of cleaning my teeth for a period is my fault. That is my fault.

You could compare it to fat people I guess (those that eat loads & loads - not those with illnesses). And no it's not discriminating. Ez is simply pointing out that the root of the problem is the user, not that being fat or having yellow teeth makes you a piece of shit.

But...i can say that i posted my point a bit harshly. what i was asking, is why do you all people find one faction of a person so much more disgusting then another? Why i went a bit off the deep end, is 'cause people won't shut the f*ck up about it.

Teeth, if not looked after right, start to decay. And as with all forms of decay you get the germs, bad smells, ect that go with it. I work face to face with people, and in a propper scroaty part of town. Realy... how hard is it? I know we all forget sometimes aswell, but chew gum or something!

I know this may touch a nerve but im a believer that if you dont look after it, why should the NHS fix it for free? Dont brush your teeth every day? Pay to see a dentist. Got lung cancer but still smoke 40 a day.... pay for the treatment. 20 stone over weight but need tripple heart bypass....you get the idea.

Slightly off track there, but im just anoyed i have to pay nearly £50 a pop to see a private dentist because all the scroats where i live cant be arsed to get a job or look after themselves.... I pay for them to see a dentist then pay for myself to go aswell. Woot!

dont brush your teeth = build up of plaque of which helps speed up the bacteria causing the 'sugar' to become acid of which erodes your enamel = big problems with tooth rot if left.

Just for the record, I´d like to add that regular oral hygiene (i.e. brushing your teeth) does not save you from caries and bad teeth. If a person has a genetical disposition for caries, he can brush his teeth all day long and will still get caries. (Although brushing your teeth certainly doesn´t hurt). So in a way, bad teeth can have medical reasons.
