Any good ways to keep your teeth white? I hear rubbing an extra trebone mint on them makes them really white, until you swollow.

I floss (get excess food out) with the end of my fag packet. Will that help.

I've got pretty nice teeth tbh but i would like them alot whiter.

Diet effects tooth colour dramatically. If you drink alot of acidic drinks or caffiene based drinks you will always have a hard time stopping your teeth appearing yellowish. Getting alot of calcium and vitamins/minerals can have a profound effect on your tooth colour, of course regular brushing helps but brushing/flossing too much will only end up damaging the gums which in turn will fuck your teeth up.

In short, drink loads of water and milk. Avoid acidic or sugary drinks.

The truth ( I think ) is it that your teeth are not 'naturally white'.. So just by brushing and such I dont think its possible to get them 'crystal white and shining'.. There is ways to bleach them tho.

1. don't drink tea, coffee, red wine, anything that's likely to discolour

2. don't quit smoking - smoke so much yr tongue resembles a big yellow slug, this will help yer teeth look better by comparison

3. brush yer teeth so hard and often that yr gums bleed - all the red will also make yer teeth look great

4. seriously, avoid abrasive teeth whiteners - they also scrub half the enamel off your poor toothypegs, and actually it's the bit underneath that's yellow naturally (so scrubbin too much will just make em more yellow)

people I've known who've had teeth whitening nonsense, it never works... got to have veneers or fake teeth screwed into your jawbones - ick

i think bad teeth is one thing i do really dislike, ok so you cant help if you have crooked teeth np but people with unbrushed (and i have seen in some cases where the top of the tooth is actually green!) and manky teeth is just disgusting, its like folk who dont wash their hair i was sat behing a lad on the bus years ago and i saw something in the corner of my eye i looked down at his head and there were lice the size of coco pops roaming about on his nut!

i mean come on ffs we look like what we look like and im not one of these "ew man i think your ugly you should get plastic surgery and not be seen in public" i like that we all look different but we can look different without being dirty manky bastards imo.

tbh one of my pet hates atm, is the current fashion for ludicrously white teeth. Nobody ever looks better for em, they're as obvious and cheesy as fuck, the older you are the more they stick out..dunno if they bleech or just removed and replaced with porcelain. Stupid US fetish making headway overhere.

Also normal brushing can be arbrasive and take off the surface of your teeth if overdone. Always used the firmest grade of bristles and went at em pretty heavy-handed. Now can see on couple of teeth where the enamal has been rubbed off near the gum (this is with like 20yrs of doing it) and next layer exposed (dentine?). This these bits always stain like fuck with red wine etc, ironically. Dunno if this why the tougher bristles out of favour and you can never buy em anywhere now.
