The BWTL (Barrysworld Tribes League - formerly known as the UKTL) is now in its 7th successful season...we are midway through season 7 and have been running as a league for 2 years.
We had a period of unrest due to the difficulties Barrysworld were going through but we're still here
Due to the recent trouble BW had we relocated the BWTL website to - http://www.euro-tribesplayers.com/uktl/.
Moving into Tribes 2 - the BWTL is gearing up for the launch of Tribes 2 and will be running just the same for t2 as it is now for t1. We need to talk to SAS and other BW people about servers etc. for the league and so on.
Our irc channel is #bwtl on quakenet - its usually very full and is where most UK players and a lot of European tribers hang out. You'll find all the admins there and we're very helpful - even on a Friday night after the pub - honest.
We're currently discussing when to start the league but we want people to have a chance to get to grips actually playing the thing and enjoying it before any serious competition - probably start it 4-6 weeks after release but thats just a rough figure at the minute.
More news as its decided and I have to mail Bigfoot and SAS so I'll get on with it. Have fun in T2 and cya later.
