Ok am heading to the NE airport as that was where i saw them last night, they probably logged out around that area.

Nah some random server - I don't like playing in the dark and not found any NVG yet.
Turns out when I logged back in I still have the DMR and my kit. Makes up for when the other day I logged out and lost all my kit!

Im on, but Im scared to join the channel, I don't recognise anyoneThose of you playing on the server can use our alliance mumble to chat with eachother.
It is a 1000 slot mumble server, the Dayz area is under "social"(You can only access this part of the forum).
It is important to have FH infront of you're nickname when joining, if not a part of Ancient Reign or any of the other alliance guilds. This way we can make sure that unwanted guest does not use the mumble

I had been lost in the wilderness for ages and was red on food and water (I had decided to see just how far the map went. On my way back, desperately searching for a pond or a town, I spotted him. I was watching him for a bit umming and aring whether to have a go because he looked pretty tooled up, though I did have an AK. Eventually I thought, what the hell I am dead soon if I don't find a town so may as well have a pop. I waited for the perfect shot when he was straight on and just let rip. The bastard didn't have all that much on him except the DMR and ammo in a tent, no food or water and no basics that I didn't already have. The chopper was out of fuel and was shot to fuck from me shooting at it/him. I found a Jerry can at his camp so filled it up. Got in and it didn't move, a quick panicking glance at the control menu later and I worked out how to get it in the air. I thought bingo, I fly this thing until I see a town and get food and water.
I Flew for a majestic 20 seconds or so before it started dropping out of the air, I then crashed and died but saw some error message and the game crashed. Logged back in on full blood (still starving though) and still got my kit. Have now managed to find a barn that had both a can of coke and some food. Going to make my way south now for a bit.

Made it all the way back to the south, topped up on food and water and found a nice little sniping tower. Shot up some zombies and sniped a bandit in the area. I will now protect the new spawns for a bit. Killed 3 that were chasing some guy, he had no idea where I was but I hope he was thankful

Well gone to the big island on the map where the helicopter is supposed to spawn and it aint there so some twat has fixed it up already and flew it off ;/
Also i have gone up and down the coast and not a single boat in sight so god knows what people have done with them as far as i know you can only beach them not sure they sink.

Well found the helicopter on a beach started repairing it at about 4am (couldn't sleep) server restarted at 6am or something and the helicopter had moved about 10 feet into the sea i could only watch as the thing exploded as i stood on the beach ;/
Think the server has to be reset or something for destroyed vehicles to respawn.
Ah never mind server reset won't do a thing i think i read after 7 days destroyed stuff with respawn at the server restart, how fucking annoying ;/
Took me the best part of 3 hours running to and from the helicopter to Elektra to look for parts, only had the rotor to get and some scrap metal, fuck.

Oh thats annoying. I'm having a ponder about a monthly vehicle reset or something. I'm just concerned it will nuke peoples tents aswell.
Dont forget tho, even vehicles that blew up reset to full life on server restart. So after the 6pm restart it maybe back on land....
