I once told an American i lived in Belgium, he asked me if it was a town in Brussels rofl
I am realy not surprised Bush got his second term tbh, now every bad thing that wil happen to them is realy their own silly mistake imo.

The real people that need to be gotten rid of are bushes cohorts. Especially Colin powell. He has made a life out of his lies. In the early days of his career when he was a lowish ranking officer in the Army, He was the one of the officers who covered up the My Lai massacre in vietnam. And people wonder why the attrocities in Iraq have been and still are being covered up, They having been lying their whole lives and It has taken them to the very top of the ladder, are they gonna stop now? The Irony is some poeple think he could be the first black president because of his honesty and he could be a good role model for black america! Lucky the republican machine would never put him up for election least some of his dirty secrets come to surface. Dont get me started on Donald rumsfield...

Bush is okay, he is only the name that they run under.

Wiki has a lot of good info on events such as what happened in nam if anyone is interested

Don't hate americans, i hate america in a self. Bad and good apples allaround.

Hitler was one helluva leader. He didn't go the right way, the whole genocide thing was a bit pushing it and he did a silly mistake in WWII, but noone can say that he wasn't a damn good leader. Hell, it took quite a lot to stop him.

If america wants the europe to stay away from their business, good. Just as long as america realises that they should keep their nose up their own butt aswell. The term "worldpolice" isn't hardly unjustified.

The mai reason why we think america is sooooo bad is because, no offense to america, they are no longer holding the same values as europe. They ARE a different country. It's like comparing europe to asia, we're no longer the same. The problem is that england, europe, america....we all still think we're the same people when we're nothing alike anymore. Morals, history, ways of life.

What can i say, chill out? Don't think anyone will.

: O I hope that was refrence to me! Its no consipiracy theory.. Comeon if you had My Lai, iran-contra, The infamous 'we will support the Shiite uprising and then letting them get massacred when they start doing your dirty work for you because you have had a change of heart' on your CV you would be a white house head honcho aswell.

Powell's successful career within the military has not been entirely free of controversy, however. During the Vietnam War, Powell, as deputy assistant chief of staff at the Americal (the 23rd Infantry Division) with the rank of Major, was charged with investigating a detailed letter by Tom Glen (a soldier from the 11th Light Infantry Brigade), which backed up rumored allegations of the My Lai massacre. Powell's response was largely seen as a cover-up; he wrote: "In direct refutation of this portrayal is the fact that relations between American soldiers and the Vietnamese people are excellent."

Another controversial part of his career is that Powell also had an operational role in the illegal Iran-Contra affair, acting as the initial coordinator for selling missiles to Iran in exchange for American hostages

Erm serve in that war most probs :(
<cannon fodder here in the army>

The comparison you are making between hitler and bush is odd, for a start hitler knew exactly what he was doing he took control of a country from absolute ground zero and turned it into one of the most powerfull and feared country`s of its time, im not saying thats a good thing but thats a pretty good achevement for anyone no matter how evil.

Bush on the other hand has taken control of the most powerfull country in the world and is destroying it. Bush`s biggest acheivment in power is he can now spell his own name......most times.

why is it when people say the "EU" its always germany and france that are mentioned? the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech rep, Greece, etc etc etc

just because holland, france and germany are perhaps corrupt doesnt make it "the EU is corrupt" ;)

As many yanks say "hes the best of two evils."

As far as bush "not beating round the bush" on his policies, they seem to be very simple. Basically:

"we'll kill anyone whos suspicious till all the terrorists are dead!"

Translated into Al'Queda

"we'll kill anyone against us till all the infidels are dead!"

Sounds similar, both killed innocents, both hate each other.

But whos to say Kerry would have been worse, some of his policies on prison reform were grim, kind of liek ours where a broken tail light gets life, and a mass murderer gets a week in Barbados. (kidding, we aint that bad yet).

I dont like America, any country where there are more guns than children scares me.

Leading your country to ruin don't make you a good leader. Think you might have confused good public speaker with leadership :p

Americans voting for Bush would be funny if it wasn't so depressing. A million Americans have lost their jobs since he took office, he's lead a "war on terror" where the main strategy was to invade a country that had no links whatsoever with the major terrorist organisations and he has managed to isolate America from Europe while sucking up to countries with appalling human rights records, such as China and Saudi Arabia. Not to mention his government's environmental policies... There are some Americans who are intelligent and thoughtful. Unfortunately there are far more who are thick as sh*t. They have fully lived up to their reputation as being the most ignorant and stupid people on the planet.

American's have a strange view on poilitics. Lived there a year (not long I know, but gives me a bit of an insight) and it came across loud and clear that they do NOT like government. They don't trust someone else to make decisions for them, and especially distrust large bureaucratic governments. They are also uncomfortable electing anyone they regard as more intelligent than they are - there are undoubtedly some very keen minds working in Washington, but the guy that stands at the front needs to be "electable". And in America that equates (in some cases) with "stupider than me".

They got that right this time :)

I would rather stick 2 fingers up to the EU and go it alone with america. EU does fck all for us except tell us how to live our lives and then shit themsleves when they gotta get their hands dirty. Wankers the lot of em.

Long live america

you do realise that without the EU, the UK stands to loose 40% of its exports right? :eek6:

without the EU import prices would be much higher too, especially on cars now being produced in the new EU countries :p
