You where there after the albs had stopped camping the bridge bled side so you can't really comment on what was happening but they do it all the time so why defend them ?

IF you take for example Indigosnake --> Constrictor you notice that Constrictor does 'rather insane' damage relative to other styles. Indigosnake-proc is resisted fairly often I would guess in 50 RvR; but Constrictor hits HARD. According to Wyrd it has a growth-rate of 1.15 which I cannot verify; but its definitatly one of the hardest hitting styles in game.
It's the 2nd in side positional and has a snare component to it and very easy to pull off (same for BM's who have their 'damage' also in side-pos 3 chain). You dont do that because you 'gamble' on Levithian which does *INSANE* proc damage. With the proc resisted its still not bad damage; only abit higher then other back-positionals from 'traditional-classes (non SI ones) /shrug.
Now add the utility of shield (guard; anytime 9 sec stun), the different aura's - who up till now still are bugged : They dont break mezz but *DO* interrupt (fixed next patch) and ofcourse the 'utility' of ranged interrupts as well as a melee-style with longer range (rocks on laggy servers) and even higher growth-rate then most other backpos (bar Annhilation+ other SI-classes) and you got a VERY nice /assist tank. But wait there's more ! The modest lifetap-proc which puts your effective WS in terms of damage abit higher aswell as the aura which increases your damage due to reducing enemy his effective absorb. The reaver also has the advantage of being able to use 2 mundane types of damage with 1 spec-line; like Hib LargeWeaponry which is great; if you know when to use what.
They aint gimped; without 'the bomb' they are already better then most tanks. Now add the bomb-ability and you're talking overpowered. The 'great' thing about the reaver is the fact he does very well in 1vs1, fg vs fg as zerg vs zerg. We all seen the 'Hib/Mid zerg was just killed by Reaver17'-deathspam.
A *GOOD* reaver can do very good 1 vs 1; and on equal RR he will probably kill most stuff. Its just most reavers dont get much further then 'slam levi oops he purged no clue wtf to do now'.

From since whenever ive started my charecter its always been omg bonedancers are all wankers and are this and anyone who plays them is this and live in a retard home ect ect, even from my own realm and people i know, so you expect me to give you any respect what so ever ? expect me not to insult you ? beacuse you damn right deserve to be insulted
Don't know why your saying this but i got a lot of respect for jaime, always come out solo always used to give me a good fight in NF and never gave up, something albion needs to learn, i fought scout inf duo, lost 6 times, beat them and they logged, thats albion for you, top class losers
If i was going to stand in anyones shadow it would be banan's hes a nice guy and helped me out a lot when i was new to the game and always replied to my 100's of questions

i used to (decided it wasnt for me when i saw a screener of an alb zerg of 100+ ppl in emain ) have a thid reaver on alb/excal, and i used to run solo with it frequently. And to be honest, was a lotta fun to play. And at the time, i could actually count the amount of active reavers at primetime on one hand.
Back to how i started this however, if a reaver knows how to play their class, id be forced to call them the best dueling class in the game. (closely followed by champs (unless they are elfs(looks at jamies))). But reavers have appeared in numbers for one reason, and to be honest, you dont need to know how to play a class to do that.

Nice to see you comment as a lvl 41 reaver though, you don't even have all the styles yet.
And I can't really see any reason why you'd wanna use a 2 hit chain when 1 style can outdamage both of them.
Of course the snare on Constrictor is nice, but I rather hurt people with Leviathan.

To be able to use both slash and crush is quite funky, but to be able to do so you miss out on the best weapon (imo) ingame for reaver.
