What? Nonsense. The US supplies Israel with billions of dollars of military aid every year, it was around $4bn last year with an additional $8bn in loan guarantees. They were the first to fly the F-35 operationally outside the US despite the UK building 20% of the thing. Israel isn't self-reliant militarily and well never be reliant thanks to their many Republican friends on Capitol Hill with plans for the end times.

No its not totally different. 90% of any military alliance/aid never involves troops on the ground. US troops aren't in most NATO countries for example.
