Action to take following GOA's reaction to TT and Black Falcon members

This game is unbelievable...I would cancel my subs too, for the reason not to have to deal with overeactive whiny bitches anymore who take this game far too seriousely. Instead i'm just gonna keep paying and playing this untill i'm either bored with it (which I actually am) or the server gets nuked.

if you all feel this strongly - then the only way to show it is to cancel your subscriptions, not to sign a useless online petition.

The total lack of GOA's english GM's responses should indicate the level of 'attention' given to it by GOA.

Actually Rampant cancelliing subscriptions is one option but it is too strong over a 5 day ban. It makes much more sense to stay and send a direct message to GOA and the people who simply do not get it or are not trying to get it. Like I said lets not debate this here lets keep the current action on track.

TD made the decision to lead people currently in Hib on the server to take part in strike action as a protest. They decide what happens in the server. As for the rest of us we just have to make sure and keep up with other actions. Stick at it and ignore the crying.

OK I said I would not be posting here again but after GOA's response to TT and Black Falcons I simply cannot sit down and allow this to go unchallenged. It is extremely important that people who are opposed to this respond and respond emphatically. This message is for those who are opposed to those actions the rest of you are welcome to read you can even respond I doubt you will have much to add since I have put up with most of you screaming rape for three days now.

Now the gloves are off and I promise if people are angry enough and insulted enough that we can do quite a bit to make GOA's life deeply uncomfortable.

The first thing I have done is to organise an online petition on the subject. It states the following:

I would request that anyone wishing to take things further rightnow GOA on all accounts a message to the following effect. Please keep it civilised and dignified:



Strike action
This is the clincher for me. GOA said that TT and Black Falcons deliberately and intentionally went out of their way to disrupt the game for others. Everyone now act in solidarity with TT and Black Falcons. Challenge that action by GOA by a) /signing this thread and the petition and stating you will not be in RvR for 10 days. Lets see them ban us all it is an intentional act to do this after all?

Anyone opposed to GOA's actions should follow the lead of TD alliance and go back to PvE for a period of 10 days. I agree with them dropping keeps in Hib is a good idea I would ask Albs, Mids and Hibs who agree to follow suit. Make this as strong a statement as you can and ignore that happens in game. For us the Realm Defense game does not exist and we will not be going to take part in any form of RvR of this nature. (rerolling Avalon might be smart btw).

Send as strong a message as you can that you are unhappy. Dare GOA to ban you for denying the griefers any form of RvR for a time. Lets see how their definition goes under these circumstances.

Public letters to gaming forums and magazines
As you can see I am not fucking around. Yes start writing to MMO online and PC games magazines - tell them about what happened. Stir up as much as you can. Make the MMO and gaming industry take notice. You can make a difference - people will not agree and will poo poo this but if enough of us act we can make sure that GOA get noticed for treating us in a way that totally over rode a significant porportion of the community. This time we need to act and fast.

Sharkith - I am publicly withdrawing from RvR on this server for a period of 10 days with the sole intent of disrupting the gaming experience of those that have made my life a misery here from time to time over the last year.

This is what makes it worthless I'm afraid, because it has no link to game accounts and so no reason at all why GoA should accept that any of those who signed are DaoC players.

If people wanted to take action to show feeling it needs to be in-game action to have an impact.

The day I found out that TT had done this I warned a member about this. I knew that something familliar was done once in the States and they also got a bann. The member from TT laughed about this. But I bet he's not laughing now anymore.

Sorry for the members of TT and BF that didn't had anything to do with it, but the others were warned enough to upgrade the keep back. So I don't feel pity with them..

They litterly said that hibs could not even get the relics back, even as the relic was bare on the ground instead of lvl1 keep.

I hope that guy has now what he deserves and that he has learned something.

Thing is we do have fun defending/taking keeps but NOT at 4 am in morning it seems you addresing this to Hibs should you not be addressing this to ALBS as this is reason that Hib have released keeps/twrs as it is utterly pointless when Alb AC crew decide they can do what they want with taking of Relics So the other realms cannot participate ????

Well, at this point its a question about banning people without having any specific rule about it. I wouldnt stand for a rule in Sweden saying: Acting against the spirit of Sweden will result in the death penalty! Simply because its a rule that will easily be utilized to create a dictature of which I dispise.

And while some might argue that this is simply a game, they forget that fact has absolutly nothing to do with anything. Importance of parts of you RL is based on the time you have invested in that specific part of your life. And in this part of their life, alot of people have invested a considerable amount of their time the last couple of years, not to mention money, meaning it has a high level of importance to them.
