this is geting stupid now most of us have been sat here scince the begining even know we havent all joined the forum till last night when we needed some where to vent our frustration about this monstrosity called GOA
i thought they said things would improve once they moved to irland

One thing I have been thaught from this whole experience. You will never, ever, under any circumstances, be able to trust GOA with anything. Not even a piece of lego after they have got the instructions NOT to swallow it. They probably will.

Hi all,

Well its been 2 hours and still no email yet for me or my son's.
We are off to play WoW until they fix this nightmare.

I remember DAOC when GOA messed up the launch of that as well, so guess its what we have come to expect from them.

Oh well, i keep telling myself its Beta but what the hell, why not have the sense to open up the Registration/Validation servers a week ago?

If i was doing their DB (database) you can be sure my advice would have been to open it up a week before the Open Beta to iron out any bugs.

I think they are just sending out theise mails and soon enough they will put them in their "Authentication database" before we know it(im trying to think positive here).

i think if it got that far we wouldn't have an EU warhammer, GOA will be bankrupt from lawsuits.. it does however say Guarenteed open beta on the back of my pre-order box after all...

Got the same thing, like i just posted, i think they will put it all soon in their "Authentication database" once they just send out all their mails and have gotten a certain amount of verifications from players.

You can still create new accounts btw even though they said you cant, even got confirmation email on that. Still waiting for key verification as everyone else obv.

ok I've checked the cleint download Im doing as Im having to redownload the beta cleint. Ive noticed that I have a lot of failed hash checks. Im using BitTorrent as the downloader. Can anyone tell me if there is a better torrent downloader? One that is more likely to pass the hash checks?

So pushing 36 hours soon since they said the open beta would "start".

In that time they could have packed all the gear away and sent it to Mythic in the states via airmail, they'd have set it up, got it working, we all log in, happy as larry - Goa employees have their houses repossessed due to missing mortgage payments and everyones happy

Utorrent worked for me, but with PeerGuardian2 running as well to stop some ofthe fake torrent sources causing grief.
