Been hitting the validate key thing for like 2 hours and have got nothing whats more the last part of my key is smudged its either a d or a o,they cant even print a fucking cd key properly.

Rayko swap them around i changed my from o to d and it validated on the secound press.

We have encountered serious problems with the authentication system since this morning, while the stability of the game servers, the speed of the patcher and the performance of the downloader have all been satisfactory. This issue, combined with an exceptional amount of traffic and a fault which was not identified during the extensive tests we ran on our platform has unfortunately limited the access to our servers to only a few of you along with our closed beta testers who had already been a part of the closed beta.

Throughout the day, we have reconfigured the authentication and database servers several times, both of which suffered under the huge number of simultaneous connections. The investigations and corrections we have done so far were essentially targeting the parts of the system which doesn’t require a complete stop of the writing process in the database. This means we preferred to keep the database turned on during the day to let it work on the huge number of accounts that were being handled at the time. This operation will continue throughout the night and, when complete, we will shut down the database and reconfigure it.

If the operation works as expected, we can once again give you access to the account page and let you register your code for the open beta. We expect to the whole maintenance to be finished late Monday morning.

Naturally, we will keep you informed of the development of this maintenance and we expect to give you an update in the morning.

Just got an email telling me "Your CD-Key has been correctly registered" i'll give it a few mins and try patching.

You click yes to confirm but ignore the error banners, do not click ok on them just drag them a side. Click yes a few times then keep trying the patcher.

Yep im patching at the mo, keep at it guys you will get there good luck all.I'm stunned we had to work are way through a broken system to get this working and that it took almost an entire day incredable and all this with zero support from either the dev team or GOA.

Nope mate the website was constantly giving me that error but i recieved an email from goa informing me my cd key had been autheticated,even though the website didnt confirm that it had worked just keep spamming it till you get that email.

I feel sorry for you m8, they sent me 2 e-mails for 2 accounts I made while I was getting errors. I'd try making another account m8 while your waiting.

Yup, that exact same thing happened for me, still hitting the "YES" key while patching...I demand that the site acknowledges my "YES" spam...!

Finally got it validated, 14 hrs from when i 1st started...i have the US beta on a torrent downloading now, i'm not remotely confident GOA can pull off a live launch, pretty sure i'll go to the US servers to play for live...

I rarely address players directly, but I wanted to write you as too few of you have been able to access the open beta today.

As my team explained in the previous post, although we have opened the servers and corrected numerous issues during the last 24 hours but we have not yet solved the issue of saturated Open Beta key activations that we’re currently experiencing. I am sincerely sorry for this, and I understand all the frustration the situation has spawned.

Today was a dark day. We expected a massive influx of players, but reality was even harsher.
I personally commit that we will communicate to you as clearly as possible on the resolution of these current issues. My goal is to give Warhammer Online the success it deserves. Be ensured that all GOA teams, with Mythic’s support, are working hard to bring you the best possible game experience.

I finally got to the entering the keys part...I will probably fuck this part up.. AND CRY

Here's how I did it:
1. Refresh F5 until the login prompt box is in the middle of the screen instead of at the side. Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning
2. Then enter in your login details quickly. Click connect, watch the wheel of doom for about 30 seconds.
3. If lucky you'll get through to the beta key verification, there enter in your beta quickly and tick the accept EULA, then click proceed.
4. Another wheel of doom for 30 seconds and if lucky you'll get a confirmation, click yes!
5. Pray to your god, and you're done. Sometimes it fails here with 414 timeout, like for me twice. but I tried the patcher anyway, and that worked.

there you go, your well planned and smooth registration process

Follow this through and through -- and mind the first 414 screen after you click Validate -- just move it out the way -- DON'T CLOSE IT

just got my key validated, and to those still trying i didnt get the validated screen or a confirmation email. so just keep trying the patcher
