ye i did the same , so now am i dl the us beta, but i only tanking 50 kibs atm :/
Still no change from the overnight position for me, the link in the initial confirmation email sticks on a code 303 error, and completing the "Code" section on the website results in the input being accepted but nothing comes of it in terms of any follow-up email etc.
Is anyone else wondering what's going to come of the head-start ? OB ends 13th.. CE Head-start starts 14th
I think it will be the same , all CE:ers will start to play on monday or tuesday , and others like wednesday

lmfao. Indeed US key from aplying for it to receiving confirmation that I can play took me a sweet 15 seconds. I am trying to validate my euro key since 4 pm yesterday so more then 22 hours ago and received zilch.
Guess Ill be playing in open beta on US server and see how the opening goes at the release date in europe. I just cannot believe that after the whole Dark age mess GOA still hasn't gotten their act together for someting that could be so immensely succesfull.

Well CE are limited so doubt it will crash the server, expect to playing sunday... everything might crash monday then, but really hope this failure will make em do it right...

i am fed up with goa incompetence...is a short while is more than 17 hours then there is something seriously wrong with goa sence of time...anywhere i can get a beta key for us ob ??? The morons from goa seem to not be able to handle anything... anyone still painfully waiting for the validation email, please, for the love of all things online gaming go to WarCry Network : Contests : Warhammer Online: Open Beta Key Giveaway and get a US key, you got infinately more chance of actually getting to play the game doing it this way than waiting for GoA.

It doesnt take any more time, this is it! all you need now is the client which torrent links for can be found in this thread and a subsequent threat.

How about the peeps who has received mail that their OB was validated - any succes on gaming so far?
I got the mail, finally, but i'm in school, and havn't been able to acces the client, to see if it actually works.

Only 10k more ppl are waiting the rest have flooded the servers... yeah pretty soon they will say that everything is well while the forum ppl who cant auth their key will be screaming their lungs out that goa are liers... pretty funny actually.... have a look
Since we launched our new validation system yesterday, players have been flooding onto the beta servers. We've been working on the systems constantly and at the moment more than 70,000 fans are able to play. Some of you however have tried to validate your codes and have received a message saying that they were invalid. If this is the case, please take note of the following points:
The letter 'I' can sometimes look like the number '1'
Likewise on some printed sheets, the letters 'D' and 'O' may be hard to tell apart
A zero will be printed as an 'O' with a line through it.
Please ensure that you are only trying to validate an open beta code, headstart or bonus item codes are not valid at this time, the system will now reject these codes immediately to make it easier for you and to prevent the wrong codes from being submitted.
Previously when you validated your code, there was a delay between the confirmation email and you being able to access the servers, our technicians have worked to remove this delay and now you will be able to patch and play as soon as your confirmation email is received. The last remaining 10,000 players who were waiting for access can now join the action on the servers.

Yeah, from what I can tell that is complete rubbish. I've 2 friends who registered on Sunday, got the confirmation e-mail yesterday and have permanently got the 'account suspended, access blocked' error when trying to activate from the link on the e-mail.
They then registered their keys on the new 'Code' system yesterday but are still waiting on their confirmation e-mail.
Someone should seriously consider reporting this farce to Games Workshop, not Mythic. Mythic won't be quick to step in but if you were to tell GW of the joke that is being made from their IP license they will be VERY quick to step in.

Yeah I can confirm I still can't access Open Beta, despite what's being posted on the Goa updates.. this after multiple attempts creating an account, waiting for emails, etc. since Sunday 7th...
Looked at the Mythic US site... so easy to set up accounts! and takes 10 seconds...
Anyway... having observed all this since Sun (including the mind-boggling customer service replies) What must EA and Mythic be thinking for this EU release!

People who have an account, but not been able to validate the beta code yet, open 10 internet tabs, each with the validation page. (war-europe.com/#/validation/)
Then enter details into each window, patience, takes a while.
When you entered name, email, password, and beta code into all 10 windows, flip through them all hitting the submit botton.
If that doesn't get you activated within 15 minuts, repeat.
Worked wonders for me, this morning I had been waiting 14 hours without any word, did that and 2 minuts after submitting 10 requests simultaniously, I got validated, and now, home from work, I can patch up with the server, so hopefully I'll take a long hot bath, a long cig and then be able to play
EDIT: Take the safe route with your time and once you have submitted 10 requests, start putting the data into 10 new windows. Once done inputting the data into the 10 new windows, check your email... no validation confirmation = submit all 10 again
