Btw those who should be crying most are not assasins, but enemy non
stealthers, since this ability allows archers to move more freely. There
is so very few archers who will be able to beat you at 1000 range that
being upset about it is pointless. Most archers will spec ts2 i predict to
help avoid assasins, and then concentrate on bow.
There is a million improvements to other classes..... You wanna kill as an archer in frontier you better up that bow damage. To spend all rp's to fight
the odd solo assasin will be a big mistake.

well difference was SH was 10 points and see hidden range was clip (when implemented)
This will be (in its most extreme form) 30 points for 1000 range. Thats no where near as damaging as see hidden. And in my view does gimp u having it.
ts2 and 1 are fine will give u some advantage and are worth the realm points.
30 realm points (rr4 alone is just to much)
See hidden destroyed the game for archers for about 1 year.
If this does go in. Due to the fact that a higher % of assasins are fotm players. A large proportion of the assasin community will jump ship onto the next fotm.
Personally I just wish there was no TS, no SH and no detect hidden.
I must say though lots of assasin think the RA change will mean archers will muller them. TBH I think it will put archers and assasin pretty level pegging (which is a considerable boost from where we are now)
mincers are the ones that are gonna kick ass from this patch to be honest.

hunters with det can be really good in groups, good dmg, stun positional + bluecon pet.

34% det (little better then det2 is currently) for 34 points, hooray... better to have purge3.
(hunters melee damageoutput is still less than a rangers, AND dualwield halves evade+shield, 2hand spear halves PARRY, so its less than half of a rangers melee dmg vs many classes)

versus classes with shield or beeing guarded of course, but that is less of an issue now with grapple and FZ..
still, det3 is only 34%? is that same for all classes that get it or can pure tanks still have über det?

Assasins got stronger in melee after toa and get new tools in frontier too.
If Mythic still allowed them the advantage of strinking archers first in melee, they had to improve archer melee so much it would be greatly unbalanced.
New ts will allow archers to sneak better around, while maintaining the
melee/range ideas of the the 2 classes. If it where cliprange or fast timed
i could understand the whine, but is close range passive made for defense.
As to frontier and groups in general, i think noone can say what works and dont work yet, but it does not look as bad for a group archer as i has been. Fast purge, insta pet/dw assist/bodygaurd/zephyr, ap to help and ranged damage and so on, against what looks to be more class balanced groups.

i wonder what assasins would say about an ra that would cost 8 points for archers and be like TS, but perma if the assasin have hit someone during the past 10 mins.

Ah well, don't worry Jox, your usual prey of rr1-rr2 players cannot kill the 2-3 SB's you carry with you at all times, and then also kill you. Perma TS or no perma TS.
And Mythic should have given clip range perma TS for free at rr1 to all archers. I want to see what elite assasins would still play the game one year later.

Every single sniper with TS 3 will own solo sbs hands down. All they have to do when they see them is to stalk them and open fire when the sb jumps somebody.
Alb stealth groups with mincers and snipers in it will clean an area in seconds, the solo/duo-time will soon come to an end.
With the amount of stealthers in the game these days, many normal groups will start to invite snipers, no question about it. And when that start to happen even small bands with 5-6 stealthers will get insta-slaughtered by passing fg's.
Keep raids; One good archer will be able to destroy the fun for 10 enemy assassins. The assassins role will be... nothing.
Who are you trying to kid guys? The new TS will be the end of ALL stealth classes who likes to solo/duo, or even trio, or whatever.
