Yup Mos2 is adequate for assassins, the 6 points that MoS3 brings are really just a luxury. You can move a little faster in stealth and you can see archers and mincers slightly further away, but for assassin v assassin fights, it makes no difference at all. (Saying that - this is being re-tested in the US at the moment because someone was saying there were some discrepencies).

And yup - the only way to give a RR5+ NS a tough-ish fight with his remedy up is to either hit them before they can get the Remedy up (SL+Viper poisoned weaps+ PA+CD) or if they have it up, it is a case of accept the first round or 2 of fighting to get the enemy poisons on you, drop a Poisonspike, then if the fight is going bad, purge the poisons, /use2 battler or malice and have some MoP to raise your hitting power - and hope that is enough. (and yes if they re-apply - you are fooked)

NS's are tough when kitted out right and when they hit RR5 - it is pain city for assassins everywhere :>

PS And to the people whining about VF using Remedy - it is his class defining ability - of course he has to use it. And if he runs through and jumps around, then you just need to walk back or move a bit while fighting him :>

Ok now where was I?

1. Remedy? well you know my thoughts you blew up on me over it before.

2. Walk through I cannot never understand really and hate it but then again I am not too good at it so maybe that is why.

But seeing your video makes me want to do one of my own but I am unsure to if I could take the abuse afterwards. The fight I like the most was Rodelsb and the Hunter that is always stuck like a leech to him. The fact you killed both I enjoyed as many times I meet them to die or just get one and die. Shame they dont just ease off and allow 1 on 1 after killing you twice already, surely they know your solo by then? I am surprised at your stats as I thought they would be higher so makes me think of a rematch but then I hit step 1. and 2. and think well no. Its good to see you play Vodka again and they you enjoy her. Still makes me smile when reading my old PM's on how you said she is so overpowered and can kill anything that you got bored with her. ahh the old days.

Oh ye and using mouse to click attacks as melee is pretty silly imo.

When "you" people say, its bad to use mouse all the times, u mean in pressing the styles ? If u mean that, imo, its much easier than pressing keyboard for me :O maybe coz i'm a "nice" fps player too ^^

it is a fact tho that its faster to use the keyboard

doesnt really make a lot of difference how you "press" styles, mouse or keys, i press the styles with mouse, mainly because its much easier to scroll through different QBs using mouse wheel (i use 4/5 QBs with 2 main ones) press whatever you need and scroll back to main. you should use what you are comfortable with, not what some people consider to be better for them.

then again it dosent hurt to have an open mind towards changes, eggy taught me to use the mouse for panning around for easier overview of the situation , that was back when i ONLY used keyboard

and you cant say something is "easier" till you have tried the opposed, in this case switching QB's with keyboard (Shift+[number])

I use 2 QBs in middle of screen (kinda right to my char). In this way i can use my mouse on styles fast (works for me atleast). Then i got "target nearest enemy" on my 4th or 5th button on mouse and instantly when i see another stealther i use face/stick (keyboard) -> PA. It is a risk you take and either you get PA in and can follow up with the upcomming styles or you miss PA but atleast gets the first shot and also disables the risk that your enemy will use their nasty styles on you (stealthed). Sometimes i try to locate the front of the stealther so you can be more sure that PA will go in but it takes longer time and when facing the wrong enemy he or she can be faster.

I guess using keyboard, mouse or combined is just a case of training to become fast. Im slow as heck nowdays since i havent played my shade in ages. Will bring him out one day... or not.

thats down to personal preference, i find it faster to play a caster using keyboard but as a tank i find using mouse for styles is so much easier, like i said, each to their own.

i agree and i didnt mean it like that, but i would think (ofc only from personal experience) that pressing 1234 on your keyboard is faster then moving your mouse over QB slot 1,2,3 and 4 to press the exact same spells/styles

ofc i guess it depends on how the rest of your keyboard/mouse is setup and what class you play so...

I use 1 main qbar that I switch to 3 main pages of styles, depending on CS styles, LA styles or a Back attack. Another qbar has some totems on it while riding a FZ too.

My other 2 qbars have ML abilitys and /use macros for artis. So it ends up being a combo of mouse and keyboard actions.
Sometimes I go into a fight and you end up going into "auto-mode" and you automatically PA+CD Garotte+AH DF+CB+FG and then you win the fight and think - hmmmm what did I do there exactly and scroll up

And to think we used to only have 1 qbar!!!!! :eek2:

Nice vid, great quality/editing as always and quite a few nice fights. Can't say I loved most of the music but it did fit well.

Personally don't have anything wrong with strafing/walkthrough, although I don't use it on minstrel in 1v1 melee fights as it wouldn't give me much benefit, I actually enjoy fights where the enemy is using it more, as it adds an extra element of skill to counter it, and the simple face-bash-bash fights often seem boring in comparison.

I liked it, except for maybe some of the songs but hey, cant please everyone. Its always nice to see someone put an effort into making a movie.

Why is people whining about run-through's? saying its "skillless" - yeah right, depending on which class you are, running through benefits quite good sometimes, I do it myself on mages so their best chance to get me is with qc
