Spotted at mad12's favourite news site that the CPL has announced a $25,000 tribes2 tourney for August 2001.
Heres the details:
Location: Dallas, Texas
Hotel: Hyatt Regency Dallas
Date: August 2001
Expected Attendance: 600
BYOC size: 350
Official Tournament Game: Tribes 2
Tournament Competitors: 300
Cash Prizes: $25,000
General Admission: $40 online | $50 door
Main Sponsor: Moshpit Entertainment
Maybe we could nag barrysworld or wireplay or someone into sponsering a 'uk team' over to compete ?
I know TPF always sponser some q3 players for the q3 tourney but I think its doubtful they'd do the same for 8-10players
