So then. A 5% "tourist tax".

A tax on when you go on holiday, a tax on business travel, a tax on small businesses that already pay income tax, national insurance on their incomes and/or the other related business taxes if they're above the threshold. A tax on big businesses, and on hospitality (pubs with rooms etc).

Growth at all costs eh?

We're in a taxation death spiral.
I am waiting for a tax on every toilet over one.
