You're not getting it, he doesn't believe in that.
I agree - his actions belie his words. Especially when he was kicking people off twitter for things he doesn't like.

But in the round - he voices freedom of speech. Not a lot of people do that. In this world, with Labour saying stuff like above (which I notice we're not talking about because: "musk" is an excuse to not deal with the actual problem at hand, a nice avoidance tactic) - someone who leans that way is more welcome than not IMO.

People have blocked Elon on X and yet they still get his feeds at the top of their X and they don't get feeds from people that they do follow but have different politics to Elon, please explain to me how that is freedom of speech and isn't censorship.

It's almost like he knows that if he says freedom of speech lots of people will blindly support him, as if there's a track record to this or something.

I've already conceded that point @Gwadien - the quote you used from me says "his actions belie his words" etc. etc.

However, it appears that I don't even need the technical ability to keep posts in front of people, like musk does. If you mention Elon you can pretty much guarantee that nobody will talk about what you were actually wanting to talk about! :)

I no longer see any of his posts since I deactivated my account. I'm now on Bluesky, which is much more positive. The final straw for me was a Labour MP congratulating a local school on something, and all the top replies saying "they're all very brown those children".

Hot on the heels of them announcing their intention to flood Facebook and Instagram with AI bots... tear up this version of the internet and start again.

I would do nail these companies if their platforms become hubs of disinformation and lies.
