Marc Cucurella really looks like his hair keeps getting in his face.

City fans could feel hard done by with VAR re-refereeing the game.

Could have gone either way tbh. But I thought we defended really very well indeed. And Harvey Elliot was great this match. Maybe he'll be the real deal.

More importantly, we're only going to realise how good Milner is and has been once he has finally retired.

He's been one of my favourite players for ages. He's work work work, massively underrated talent. True pro.

You know I sure it was about 5 years ago it was only captains that were supposed to approach the referee to discuss on field incidents, I think it is about time they started handing out more cards when players surround refs or get aggressive. I would also enforce the managers boxes more stringently as well as the managers.

I don't personally think it's anywhere near as bad as it used to be.

Go go Mings, if Southgate takes him then we are doomed.

He will be a shoe in. Did well in the U21s, you see.

2 ways to get in the England squad, be a right back or have played well ~5 years ago.

Have to say he looked like he knew it was coming, all the way through the match he just looked... resigned.

Does that mean he won't lead Liverpool to decades of success, or has he still got a chance?

Huge result for Northampton (3rd) today, beating Stevenage (1st, 2nd now) away

Claim to fame, my wife "taught" Carney Chukwuemeka in pre-school.

As it stands, the last games of group D are going to be mad.

Does it smack a little bit of "I was only following orders"?

I agree with Hendo tbh, but the "it's not us who decides" doesn't really wash if you're not prepared to put your own participation on the line.

We should struggle today, too many important injuries to beat a Arsenal side in form.

Looks like Hasenhuttl is for the chop. It feels like he's been on the brink for about 18 months.

Reports of his demise have often been exaggerated, but if he's sacked at the start of the World Cup I'd suggest the decision was made some time ago. As a fan I'm not too fussed about him either way. Maybe some fresh ideas will keep us up, but a change of management isn't going to make our strikers stop missing sitters or our defenders making stupid decisions. I'm not an XG merchant but today we lost 4-1 and our XG was 1.7 and Newcastle's was 0.8 which is shocking.
