Well, that's a surprise. Has Moshiri thrown the owners a bung or something.

The fact they seem to not have any one in mind to take over from him immediately makes it even more of a shocker

I can see why they've done it. They're just not doing what Burnley do anymore. Still surprised though, as I'm not sure who is about to take over. Shows how little loyalty there is in football, 10 years of over achievement with them and gone at the first real sign of danger.

Why would he?

Unless they've already got someone lined up I don't have a clue who would.

I just think Rafa would be hilarious, especially if he kept them up.

So we got relegated today, pretty exciting though! Lower league matches have a better feel to them :D

League 1 is the fucking pits. Hard to league to get out of. Fair play to Rooney and the players, what an effort. Would've finished 17th without the points deduction which is amazing really.

Honestly I'm so unexpectedly impressed with Rooney. First thing he said when asked how he felt after he knew they were going down was "proud".

He is always proud going down, others not so much ;)

I think Man U being shut shouldn't be that surprising any more, they just look utterly uninterested.

I bet Rudiger was punching walls, watching that. I don't think Arsenal would've scored at all had he been playing, all of the goals were such gifts (and I can't believe VAR fell for Saka trapping Azpilicueta's arm and dragging him down). I thought Sarr did alright earlier in the season when he played but he looked hopeless tonight.

We'll see. Eredivise to United is clearly a massive step up, but he is very well regarded. United need a clear out and probably 7-8 signings. But they need to sign players that fit "a system" rather than a system of vibes and shirt sales.

Looking at this squad, who do you actually want to keep? De Gea, Lindelof probably fine as a depth option, Fred, Bruno, Varane, Dalot fine as depth, Shaw fine as depth, Elanga, Hannibal. Maybe Rashford & Lingard. Rashford doesnt look interested at the moment and Lingard has never lit it up for United.

4 quality starters there, not including Ronaldo. You'd probably get rid of him if you're doing a rebuild.

Or ask yourself, how many would get into a city or pool first 11. The club needs a complete rebuild, which won't happen under the board.

They're currently the 6th best team in the country, right. In the Europa League spaces and 3 points off champions league?

It's all a bit hysterical.
