Apple sucks... try Creative or Cowon orso... much better value for money. Apple iPod is incredibly overly overhyped. Few functions and short batterytime.

My Creative Zen pwns Ipods all day every day.. so much so that when Ipods see it walking down the road they would rather throw themselves into oncoming traffic than confront the Zen of Do0m !

Think its about a 24hr battery on it tbh. Creative Zen 60gb thingy - doubles as a portable hard drive as well which can come in handy.

I like my ipod tbh, does what I want, plays music nice and simple..

I have a 2gig usb flash stick and a camera phone with everything on it..don't need anything else with about 1000 gizmos.

I think ipods have a really simple UI, its much better than the Zen one, I can never get the sliding bit to work properly on my mates, ipods are much easier to use, and the battery life on mine is fine for my use of it.

Can you play video on the Zen ? I'm looking for a high capacity MP3 / DVD portable thats not too bulky with a strong battery.
