It was a rather clever play by Calaen, just doing nothing. Everyone was clean until, second to last scavenge and then it was too late for Uara.

The lack of backstabbery and paranoia was interesting.

Next time (hype alert) there will be NPCs, more free actions, more choices and more ways to get f*cked. Also going to try a 24h setting real time and kill the phase system.

Might even start it by everyone being normal and gear+events shaping the lot.

i think next time, we cull the real threat, the gingers, then worry about zombies :\

I was just unlucky on the third night that Cal didn't come back otherwise we would have got him before he turned anyone!

Might I suggest you keep track of what happens a bit better too? I quit because it got a bit shit that every time I went out something happened to me, regardless of who I was with or what I was doing, even when I had a weapon. I got shot, captured and imprisoned and finally bitten on the 3 times I went out. I just couldn't be arsed with it after that. If it moved along a bit quicker that would be good too.

I keep track of things, only thing i missed was your crowbar(which was corrected). Otherwise; you were unlucky and travelling in large groups. I did say travelling in groups is a bad idea :p

What happens to you isn't decided by me, it's random based on variables on group size and location loot/event-tables.

I went out on my own and avoided trouble on all but one occasion ... and that was because I went to a high risk location (had my baseball bat to protect me).

Not sure what you mean by "moved a bit quicker" ... this was the fastest game I've played thanks to the enforced timing and not waiting for people who disappear for weeks at a time. If anything, on occasion, it was too quick ... didn't allow people to get their votes in.

I knew Mabs was bad, but I didn't think he was military ... after the demise of Ch3t and Raven's suicide, I was convinced that the only way we could win was to act as the victim and distract the zombies from the soldier character. I actually thought that was Scouse.

Voted for Nate and Cal as well - knew they were bad ... there just wasn't the time to get a consensus ... very different pacing to regular werewolf games which I don't think we adjusted to (not a bad thing mind, just something to bear in mind when playing in the future)

I did feel the game moved to fast once we actually got everyone talking in the rabble phase. It seemed that just as we got some bitching and voting going that it was scavenge time. It made it very difficult to actually lynch anyone or get a feed on people's thoughts.

I found this quite frustrating, combined with an apparent lack of will from players to do anything but scavenge constantly...!! WHY!!!! I would hope we all learn from this and remember that in an "infected" game scenario, our odds lesson with each night we do nothing.

Well played cal, I only thought you a infected zombie, I had nate or mabs down as the big bad. Scouse I just thought was infected, what I did not understand was what the hell was with mabs doing everything scouse asked??

It was my first game so maybe I was a little impatient, I have a pretty short attention span. I did get pissed off with forever getting smacked by some shit, in a big group, small group, solo etc, regardless of location some shit would happen to me. It felt like those bugged games that punished you through bad design, except you had to wait a week between having another go so I just couldn't be bothered.

I'll have another go in the next one though.

I was fortunate with how the groups fell into place, i didn't risk anything the first two nights with Nate and Uara as I wanted them on board longer term and the gamble paid off, in more ways than one when I went with Nate, Mabs and Scouse to the school. I volunteered Mabs to stay with Scouse to not draw attention to myself, in the hope Mabs would say nah you stay and I'll escort Nate back. It didn't work out like that, but it stopped me from being scanned and also allowed me to discover my biggest threat Uara. We also discussed at length Ch3t not being right :( sorry dude :p I also discovered that Mabs had lied to Scouse and gave him a bung trade with the ammo, then I got Uara.

I enjoyed the game, I didn't feel threatened into making rash decisions, but I do agree sometimes just as we were chatting we were whisked off.

Personally, I found it frustrating how long it took.

I agree that more chatting was needed - but if we're gonna play a game we really should try and check in at least once every, say, 48 hours?
