Well potentially we could have tripled our infected numbers I was bit, others may have been, and we still have to worry about the enemy from within secretly infecting someone also.

So best case, it's me being bitten, the secret infected one and the unlucky sod he nibbled on last night, worst case I dread to think!!!!

sorry, going back to this:
we have at least one Zombification Maestro, possibly with a zombified white cat ...
we have one "bitten" and one "nibbled" ? how does that work.
cal is saying he was bitten and infected. which i will take at face value
where does the nibbling come in ?

something doesnt scan there, cal seems to have more information than i do, i may be misinterpreting it, but until proven otherwise

More info? we have one at large amoungt us, he has bitten someone else through the night, that makes two. Then I got attacked while scavenging and have today and tonight to find a cure or else I will become a zombie for the next day phase, killing me now gains you nothign at all, as I A can be saved by someone else, or by scavenging tonight. This simply gives you an opportunity to focus on someone that isn't me for todays killing likewise if somsone where to give me a cure today I could then vouch for said person, which would increase our odds again of hitting the other two!

To confirm for you, I have been bitten but I will not be infected until tomorrows day phase should I not find a cure today or tonight!

and yeah if Cal has until tomorrow to get a cure then there is no point in considering burning him till tomorrow. If no cure is given to him then we can off him tomorrow to help protect the group (looking out for the groups interests here rather than Calaen).

Do we take it on face value that what Calaen says is truth though? If he isn't who he says he is, and infact is Patient Zero...it's a very clever move for Zero to make as for the rest of the game no one would vote for him.

Why wouldn't he be scavenging is equally as good a question. I think we have to be very careful, lots of assumptions being made.

How do we know that? Cal said that the zombie master was doing this; all we know is we had no deaths.

Well I doubt they'll put their hands up and say "no I can't", so we really can't know. All I am saying is it's dangerous to assume the answers are what people seem to be leaning towards.

Hi guys - sorry I've only just come back from scavenging (aka work in RL) ... and for all my efforts I managed to find ... no objects of use!

But the gamble might have paid off. I discovered an abandoned car (out of petrol) in a nearby street. If we can scavenge some petrol, maybe this is how we can get to the extraction zone??

Still need parts to fix the radio first though!

Here's the question that's been bugging me ... if Cal was bitten ... why come back and potentially infect us all? There was a huge assumption that there might be some kind of cure (hasn't been mentioned anywhere as far as I can tell). Coming back was a reckless thing to do IMO.

Mabs; you are really too keen on this scavenging thing being the answer to everything, I feel it's too easy to claim either way.

I agree with Sydrik, although he's clearly not good at reading. Just because someone of us did not vote does not make us prime suspects. You cal, nate and itcheh are just as likely to be the evil zombie master, and could easily be lying. Or the zombie master might be able to scavenge, we don't know. What you think makes perfect sense does not to me.

I agree that Nate and yourself have both pushed the vote and I have doubts about why. However I think the safe bet is Calean, he's apparently scrounged but gained nothing, he's apparently infected and wants the cure. Now assume for a minute he is the zombie master, that is a near perfect cover story and would give him immunity for persecution if we believe him.

So going with the safe option;

ah you see i came round to Cal again, was thinking, if we leave him alone, and dont cure him, we can see what happens to him tomorrow ? use him as a "control" , then kill him tomorrow ?
unless he can infect a 2nd tonight ? i honestly dunno

as to scavenging, i would do it on the basis that the reward will hopefully outweight the risk. whose to say there isnt a special Zombi-Detecto-Matic device out there ? whose interested in us not finding additional solutions ?

If you leave him alone and he is the zombie master then he can eat or convert another person tonight also. If he isn't then what will the fall out be of having a full on zombie in our midst come tomorrow morning? Will anyone die trying to take him out? Will we have to use a scavenged item to get rid of him? I very much doubt we can simply vote him off tomorrow, as he'll effectively be a flesh eating maniac locked up with us.
