I won't get into the schools thing, far too many "think of the children" around here. But shopping is daily life. You shouldn't have to remove your head dress to buy milk. That is functional discrimination.

When I go into a shop I'm not required to show photographic ID to buy shit. I just need to know my pin number. Should we all be showing our passport now to buy stuff or have I missed something.

There are *very* few occasions that ID is a massive requirement, even fewer that require you to show your face. If that's required then as a society we can be judged on our tolerance and civility by how accomodating we can be to people with alternative needs - the vast majority of whom are nice, law-abiding citizens - so we can provide a private area for that sort of thing.
