Been waiting ages for this and yes the demo is superb and makes me happy that all seems to going well

Monitor hangs, u tried any refresh programs> I think someone sorted it with some fiddling with the refresh rates.

Oh and yes, I do think they've done a great job. I love the way the security cameras work and the cartoon panel death scences

I ran the game first time fine, played until I died, then i got a popup and the game crashed, now everytime i try launching the first mission my PC bluescreens with

IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO or something

Thats the best windows error message. It means there's something wrong with something. You have to figure out the details yourself.

P.S. Ask in the hardware forum.

Doesn't IRQ mean Interupt Request?

I don't see how it can be less than or equal to something (zero).

From what I understand (and remember), it means something is giving itself a higher priority than it's allowed. So it could be a dodgy card, a bad driver, the main memory, the motherboard, DirectX or any program you happen to be running. To fix it you might have to do anything from download the latest drivers to buy a new mobo. You have to figure out what's causing the problem first though, by switching hardware around and downloading every patch you can to see what helps.

I may have dreamt all this though.

They say its a work in progress so expect it to hang. I got as far as the jeep and it froze. Hope they iron out the bugs better than they did with the demo that is supposed to get you interested.

Once you get to the jeep that's the end, isn't it? I did the level's the wrong way round tho

I thought it was pretty good, may consider buying it when ti comes out

Jeep is end of first level afaik, thats where it shoots me back to menu on mine. The second mission ends when you get to the stairlift with carrington?

managed to complete the first level without the pc crashing, havnt managed to even load the second level yet.

I like the comic-book effect but that's it. As it stands I find it a sub-standard FPS.

The Mission Impossable bit using the Hoot-shot thing was just to good...

As well as throwing a shard of glass at the enemy....

Give it more gore, and better weapon SFX, imo.
