Also, I seem to feel quite tired, I'm fairly sure the captain said we are only on duty shifts from Mon-Fri, so we have around 24 hours to act, or not.

:) I guess trying to use logic and rational thought is a bit of a red flag thing to do in the face of randomly voting someone because they didn't like the fact that someone else voted them because they weren't particularly bothered that someone else got them covered in poo.

Whatever thoughts that are going round your head are way off target.. Sometimes self-doubt is a bad thing but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to see the flipside to what people say. I guess my problem is I see both sides, drivel on about that ad nauseam and that ends up leaving me nowhere - and you a paranoid wreck. But maybe this is all just part of my evil game to twist what you say and blatantly mislead everyone.

I almost want you to vote me so that you realise how wrong you are.. Do we have a deal on the ball-sucking? :iagree:

I'm still not sure about Uara's rapido vote on me after Ch3t. Not to mention the fact that the logic in what he says is way off.. I don't think I was trying to make Ch3t look "bad" at all, I just thought he was a meanie. Then again, maybe Uara's just pulling a Ch3t and completely misreading what I say.
And Rubric's still odd. But no one cares about that except me and Ch3t :coffee:.
All the other votes for death appear based on the initial randomness of the jokes and counter randomness and I think it's pretty impossible to reliably read anything into any of it (though I've forgotten half of what happened.. I sure wish there was a summary somewhere..). Ch3t's vote on me is almost reasonable considering how much I talk and try to be helpful, if only the things he says weren't so odd.
Everyone else has gone pretty quiet lately after our spat and forgotten their earlier arguments.. Playing it safe ?

Well.. if no one wants to gun Rubric down with me for being a useless wreck (could anything else be going on with him?): Vote Uara :X3:

Switching vote from one guy who only has your vote, to another guy who has no votes? Seems like a total waste, when you could have just went for a no vote.

Opticle, i fo apologise but... waz?!

Voting for uara with no argument for it either? Safe vote with no kickback, but why? What's the reason?

Your helping could also be seen as confusing people there's a lot to take in.

But mostly...vote on uara? o_O

I have given reasons a couple of times. I thought he jumped on the bandwagon to vote for me far too quick, and I don't really think his comments made sense, like I said before.. *shrug* I know it's not going to result in anything anyways, but I just wanted to let him know I'm not sure about him. :) It's nothing personal, unless he's a traitor.

And I see your point, I'll post much less detail of my random brain splurges from now on..

Now see that's a problem. I could've understood a "No, i'm doing this to keep confusion out" etc, but now you come off too much like trying to please everyone. You also could've done this suspicion without voting, now it's in the same ballpark as Mabs is with his jokevote; dangerous if it catches fire.

One thing you said is true, as others have pointed out, we're not going to get anywhere with this information. By anywhere i mean a definitive vote on someone today.

Well if nothing else, we're divided. I'm half tempted to loko at the folk with no votes, though not sure if that's a good reason to suspect anyone knowing that usually people have some idea.

Hmm, compared the lists nd noticed Uara is missing from the votepool. A recount may be in order, as painful as that may be.

Is voting for our captain an option by the way, i wouldn't want any zombie action. I've met some of those occultist peeps back in germany and if the allies got those...well.

Well I was doing it to "try" to keep confusion out, but then people will just think that's suspicious too. Basically unless the traitors royally drop it, everything and anything is complete conjecture, and you don't know if anything anyone says is a bluff, a double bluff, a triple bluff or whatever. But apparently some people are mind-readers and they can see the evil behind everything I do. Mighty irrational and illogical for a German if you ask me. But maybe the stress of being underwater is getting to them. Like Rubric.
And yeah, I guess trying to play for the team could come across as suspiciously trying to please everyone. I'll stop that.

Everything I've said is true. o_O:rolleyes:

look at who I've voted for....and Chet....I don't trust chet! :p

Who did you vote for, Cerb ? I can't remember / find :(

WHY DOES NO ONE CARE ABOUT RUBRIC ?? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

He's bat shit crazy, he's not contributed or joined in, he's lying below the radar and just watching it all go to hell around him. Classic pattern of a spy here... create havoc and watch everyone take each other down without being seen. That is what I see happening. I don't trust opti, but he's contributing at least.

Having been through a rough and eventfull day the crew agree to call it a night,
maybe a new day and some well needed rest will shine a new light on the situation.

Night time!
no more chit chat,
If you have a nighttime action, you know what to do... :p

As the crew wake up to face a new day, they do so at tragic expence, during the night,
someone or someones have targeted the gentle Cerb Ehrlichmann.

A fine and distinguished officer, Stabbed in the back through the sheets in the dead of night,
What a cowardly act! but whats this? apon closer inspection, the crew find what seems to be
a powdery residue on Carbs left cheek, and under the right eye,
the pattern would suggest that it was sprayed on his face, Poision! for sure... no smell..must be...Cyanide!

But why ? and why go to the trouble of poisioning someone and then stabb them in the back?
The work of one sadistic individual ? or is the crew faced with multiple threats ? surely this calls for further investigation!

A quick check with the radar, tells the crew that the ship is getting closer...by it's sonar responce,
this is definatly no fishing boat! and whatever it is
it's heading strait for the damaged submarine

Cerb Ehrlichmann the Torpedo Engineer is dead!

Seems we got more problems then just spies. Poisoning people isn't really any way for a military-man to act, so we got some kind of a murderer among the rest of our problems?

Farewell Cerb, greatest Torpedo Engineer the Fuhrer ever had. He even seemed to predict his death! He didn't like Ch3t and voted on Itcheh then got killed ;o Anything to say you two?

Technically I think he got killed twice, I think Toht has it right, we are looking for 2 enemies.

First off Cerb made himself an easy target, It also gave any potential enemy a perfect reason to off him. Because now people will read last post and look possibly at two people who have nothing to do with it. Causing even more confusion, I fear we are dealing with people far more cunning than I had given them credit for.

aww bugger, not just a spy we're hunting for now
. Although we should be glad that although we have lost our torpedo engineer (damn unfortunate when a ship is bearing down on us) that only one man was taken out. Imagine if they had gone after different people. We would have been in even more sticky situation than we are at present.

i know lots of people dont trust me
but i think Ch3t is safe. it would be too obvious for him to have offed cerb after the repeated finger pointing
so we are looking at:
10 people
some crew
spies? 1+
lunatic? 1+ .. hi btw rubric...

Excuse me? He said one thing to me, which I answered an he accepted. Did I miss something else he said about me? If he did fair enough, but I'd like to know what you are referring to?

So your logic is that anyone who dies and has mentioned any other crew members must have been killed by them? Talk about making it easy for the spies amongst us. With logic like this I may join Rubric in crying and accepting our doom.

He's referring to the fact cerb kinda called you out in his last post as one too watch. Like I said it only confuses matters.

Ahh this post? I took that as tongue in cheek, hence the silly pink smiley that he somehow projected out of his mouth... in German.

In light of the immediate above and previous events, I am just going to come forward and say this, even though I know it puts me directly in the firing line.

I am a Gestapo officer. I was posted on this boat by my superiors officers due to suspicions that the U-Boat was to be sabotaged - and they were right. Before the events of the past day and a half, I had intended to interrogate crew members during the night to find out where their true loyalties lay.

Last night, because of his outspoken nature, I wanted to be sure Ch3tan was on my side so that I could trust him and stop wasting time fighting him when he tried to twist every single thing I said.

As the rest of the crew were sleeping, I made my way to Ch3tans quarters - the room was empty. I took the opportunity to search his belongings and I found a small metal box stashed away and under the cabinet closet. Once I'd picked the lock within it I found 3 Passports, one German, one Russian and one English, Bundles of paper money, mostly Rubles and British pounds, and a wallet badge with Ch3tan's profile and the letters MI6 ingraved into a metal shield.

Ch3tan IS A TRAITOR. He is working for the British !

And now, after the above and previous events, I strongly suspect either Uara or Mabs is his accomplice in all this.

I know coming out and saying this puts me directly in the firing line from both sides - particularly as Ch3t has been finger-pointing me.. But with a positive hit finding the traitor so early on in the mission I figure it's worth the risk.
If we take out one of the traitors at this stage, I don't think we can lose. It wouldn't make any sense to do this so early on if I were a traitor - you'd kill Ch3t, discover his innocence and then I'd be guaranteed dead tomorrow; there'd be 8 alive and 1 traitor left - it's tactical suicide.

In a way I'm grateful to Ch3t for the finger-pointing - by making me a suspect, he guaranteed my safety from murder last night, but I know it makes my credibility more difficult today.

I'll say it again, I am a Gestapo agent (i.e. seer). I have identified one of the traitors, Ch3tan. If we eliminate him now, we have the advantage this early in the game and with luck we will find the other spy and complete our mission.

I know you can't be sure of what I say, but if we kill him, you will see the proof for yourselves. Then with protection, I can safely interrogate the remaining suspects and we _will_ complete our mission.

If you don't trust me, comrades, then kill me - you will probably doom yourselves as a result, if not from the traitors then from the Gestapo when you reach home - but if you do decide to go for me, please watch closely those who are going to be calling for my blood now.. one of them is most likely Ch3tan's accomplice, and then you might still have a chance at success.

Vote to execute: Ch3tan.

Yeah, I made my comments because people were jumping immediately on what he said.
