Do you not watch the news? There are plenty of shootings in the UK as well, which seems unlikely as we dont have any guns ...
I didn't say there was no gun crime did I? Proportionately, it's a LOT less than in the US. On the rise, sure, but still not even close to how bad it is in the states.

Or would more have been killed in the dark with everyone shooting everyone else.If everyone in that cinema had been armed (not the kids obviously) would he have killed as many?

True but I have realised the futility of banning things based on the fact that some people will abuse them.
Down that path we end up with no freedoms.
I agree. Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

That's why I am so shocked by Denver, it's just so beautiful and safe, a place were you get called sir in garages and shops and everyone has time for for everyone else.
Something the UK has long lost.

Yes it is shocking that these people died because of that nut job but saying taking guns away is not an answer better gun control might be. Mental checks for people who what to own guns on a regular basis might be an idea but as show here in the UK the Black Market will fill the void left by legitimate guns. The word on the "Street" is that the guy that shot the Police Office in Clacton did it with a gun from the Falklands.
Canada is moving with guns. Gun crime ain't the same as the USA.

I lived in colorado springs for 7 months and i have never felt so safeThe figures aren't remotely "misleading". I have one word for you, "Columbine" (just down the road from Denver) and fuck off with your nonsense about rural America being some idyll out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
Shot a baby at close range....
Death penalty please. As slow and painful as possible.
