Lol, if we are going to vote based on your like/dislike of tetris you're going to have to throw me out of the nearest airlock as well as I love it. Only Thor has a higher score than me in the game machines in the ships lounge!
Cerb, Uara and Calaen - you are all quick to question the first man who dares speak up! It's always easy to comment from the sidelines and make suspicious the active doers, especially when two others have done so already! Kind of a non committing bandwagon! Calaen was last to get on it so seems the most suspicious to my eyes:
lol the fact he's voting for Thor based solely on his dislike of Tetris (even if its a jokey vote) is very random. Luckily we've got the numbers that a vote like that doesnt hurt for the moment! Plus I think we're allowed to question votes otherwise its going to be a short game
haha that is true! Our main problem is that we have nothing to go on. We have a dead captain. One member in a coma and not looking too healthy to last the night and nothing point in any direction. If we start bandying votes around the place. Its all well and good to throw out a vote like that but if one small vote (on something that has nothing to do with the survival of us) starts the ball rolling that leads to the death of one who is there to help us, it sure as hell isn't a good direction to go on. (Although of course it gives us a good indication of who to look at next)
How about a no lynch on the first day, as we have nothing to go on, its a bit risky as we then have to disect the nights events but it may help us out in the long run.
No Lynch always comes with the risk of a free kill for the bad guys. On the other hand, a lynch might kill an innocent guy.
Will the night activities really help?
well with someone who can nvestigate and whatnot yeah it probably will but lets not all go no lynch just yet. surely we can afford to talk about it abit first?
Yeah dont want to get the first day over and done with too quickly. Even if we don't lynch anyone its useful to get some conversation going back and forwards.
Haha fair enough Fl3a, thats what I thought, but you know how jumpy people can get when theres a risk of us getting killed off.
ok, i am going to vote aph3x
firstly because he votes against me because of a jokey vote, and because i want to actually see some action
secondly because before he was found to be on the ship after all, our dead captain left a message that there are two parasites. i dont think that they would send only two parasites to 'take care' of a crew the size of ours. the captain didnt see him on the ship and said that there are only two. but i think that there has to be three. and aph3x is the only one who was confirmed for sure to have missed the flight, while the others were just in suspended animation.
That is an interesting theory Fl3a, however both of you could be parasites, and are using this to get the ball rolling in your favour before switching votes to avoid suspicion.
Based on what little has happened so far I am inclined to go with your line of thinking for now, but I will change my mind is something more damning comes about.
fl3a, i get what you're saying but it sounds really.. hmm I don't know. I suppose that argument could be turned both ways, and one could say that if someone was behind all this, why would they miss sending one of their parasites on board before launch?
Aph3x came on board late, and we would have left without him! Would the evil power behind have let us off with less than a full compliment of parasites? If not, that would speak for Aph3x's innocence!
Oki I agree with levin in that I can see where you're coming from Fl3a. However a parasite could use this situation to his advantage (as in a parasite who is already on board). They could accuse the new/late arrival of being a parasite and play upon the paranoia that there may be more than 2 parasites onboard. Can easily be argued both ways!
As Uara said, its an easy thing to switch this onto me, I couldnt make the boarding due to illness and as the game took a while to get going I managed to get onboard, although later than I had hoped too.
Im an easy target and Fl3a is taking advantage of it.
i invite you all to read the log (here) of the captains message and what is said there. the other late arrivals cant be accused on the same grounds as aph3x, as they were indeed counted amongst being on the trip, while he was not.
i dont think the parasites would send less than 3 of them for a crew as big as ours, as it would make their job really hard, especially as they know the jobs of the crew members, who could hinder them in doing so.
and also aph3x if you claim you are an easy target - stop making yourself one.
voting against me because i want to get the ball rolling?
dont you?
just trying to think it all through really....i dont really see enough evidence there to vote for anyone yet even aphex because to me its all a little too dependant on there being more than 2 parasites but who knows
Although I see Aph3x as a potential target for airlock tossing due to the reasons that Fl3a has given, I think I will need to see more from him in later days (if he survives today) before I would be willing to thrown him out. As at present you're putting two and two together and hoping it makes 4 but the answer is still unclear. (But I will be keeping an eye on him).
For the moment I think i'm going to have to go for No Lynch
