You're forgetting the l337 training he got from the best fighting force in the world...not to mention the 2 years he spent in the TA. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes home with Saddam's head on his bayonet. ~suppresses a laugh~

yea he might die, which is fair enough as he's gotta accept that. i dont think they regret it. i mean, reading bravo two zero by andy mcnab, doesnt sound to me like he has any regrets about his time in the SAS, and he had one of the worst interrogation experiences ever recorded.
i suppose it takes a certain type of person to get through it mentally and not fuck themselves up. which brings me back to my original point, repents wont be able to hack it lol.
imagine him being called up to iraq, then being captured, having his nads chopped off and being interrogated for a month. <ponders> what a lovely thought.

"His lack or training" but you claim you have to be this "sort of person" does your training make you "this sort of person"

Few people here REALLY hate Repent, if he thought we did he wouldn't bother coming back here. Sure we like to argue with him, because he's interesting to argue with.

I don't dislike either of you (most of the time) but I do believe in fairness. I have read most of Repent's posts since before he called himself Repent and although he acts like a complete tit 90% of the time I have never seen anything which would indicate he didn't have the 'right stuff' to undergo intense army training. You can never judge a person entirely by how they behave online. If you knew Repent in real life and were saying these things then I would have no problem in accepting them. However, you are basing your arguments on a single photo and his forum ramblings which isn't a solid base for an argument.

I've been running 5 miles a day, walking/jogging 10 miles of the hills in Wales 2 times a week, I train 6 days a week in my pre uniform course and personal time, I do thai boxing, I work, the picture you saw of me was when i was 16 on my very first night out clubbing I was still in school, Im now nearly 19, I've already done the army and navy fitness tests and passed them, im now working my way upto the Royal Marine tests.
I wont just be fixing things becoz the core im joining doesnt do that, once im fully trained I'll be dropping behind enemy lines taking out bridges, making bridges, helping with the transportation of humanitarian aid. Laying and Clearing Tank and Personnel Mines and doing my trade.
Taking the piss out of someone who is trying and trying hard to make something out of themselfs is totally wrong, with the area I've grown up in with all the "scallys" who sit on park benches smoking dope and drinking, doing what i've done, with A levels and now the army, I think you can shut the fuck up mate, becoz you dont know shit, you should just accept that someone is having a shot at their life and respect that.
I havent joined so i can boast, I've joined for a career, I havent joined so i can shoot people. Jesus, if I wanted to kill someone there would be something wrong with me. If I was in a kill or be killed situation I'd let them have it, but I hope it doesnt come to that.
