Second, I still don't understand Iceforge's reasoning about a couple things. He says one murder last night failed, when we could all see the signs of what looks like two different killers targetting the same victim. How does that have anything to do with him putting himself in jail and that preventing a kill? I doubt Iceforge was targetted, unless as Ch3tan says, there is a third party out there. But that would make absolutely no sense from night 1 when we had only one kill.

Thanks! That information was great! I had entirely misunderstood the information given to me and had not looked at the body to closely myself and had thus gathered that the method to kill Gohan and ECA was different and not gotten the bit about several methods used on ECA.
This makes me worried some, as this means my security about at least knowing 1 person being innocent has been shaken very hard and I know have big doubts about my previous view on the subjects.
Makes me regret flashing my badge to you all, as then that gave us nothing

The reason i left out the bandit option is because of the reaction I was talking about. The reaction was just that.. you didn't seem to want to acknowledge that there was a mercenary until I pointed out the fact.

This is a simple misunderstanding. I didn't know that there was a mercenary before you pointed it out and, i can't remember who, someone pointed it out from some records also.

That's why i was a bit dumb-founded at your knowledge of things.

The timing was meant more as a "why didn't you say anything before", but you seem to be working long hours so that would explain it.

Seems to be lots of "misunderstands" around these parts. Makes me nervous, makes my trigger finger nervous. You are all mightly lucky I hung up my guns long ago.

Iceforge, pardner, you have hung yourself out to dry. There is no way to prove what you say other than by your death. You managed to "miss" random coming out as a deputy, you "missed" the nature of ECA's death. You think that a bandit/townie would actually come out and make the claim of being a deputy on the second day after your claim that there was not one. Too risky for that person, I do not see anyone doing it.

The one thing in your favour right now is no counter-claim to being the sherrif, however thats a dangerous game to play if you really are the sherrif. I have a very easy way for you to prove who you are. Deputise me.

Right well obviously I have not been clear.
I have been quite busy slaving over my forge in ye black smiths shop(#1) and miss much of the towns gossip hence my confusion over the iceforge situation.

All I know for sure is:

• I am a townsfolk (yet not a mason)
• I was deputised on the first night.
• As deputy I barricaded ch3tan into his home (OCC: roleblocked).

(#1 OCC: I.e. I've been busy at work and unable to check forums)

With Iceforge having royally confused things I am quite happy going with one of you low post bastards, just to get things moving.

It's true, i did come here from another country and my name does stand for "Doctor" in this lands language. But if i remember, bullets aren't classified as poison.

RandomBastard raises another point that's slipped the radar, and that is that i'm not the only one in the "you were locked away and couldn't kill" scenario. Ch3tan was confined aswell, if we trust RandomBastard and Iceforges story.

Why can't anything in this town be simple...

Well, not to confuse things more, like one even could if one tried, if Iceforge is lying then there's still a possibility that RandomBastard was deputized and Iceforge caught that and used it, but the real Sheriff just doesn't want to get out as he'd be the next nightkill right after we hung Iceforge for "treason". Or, he would come out, people would believe Iceforge and the sheriff would get himself hanged.

Speculation, as always, but there doesn't seem to be anything else to go by.

I came back from a hard shift at the mine-shaft and I thought it couldnt get anymore confused than it could. Yet I return to the discussion after sleeping off a few whiskeys and it seems somehow it has. Accusations and speculations are flying around faster than shots from one of those new-fangled rifles

I don't kno where to look at the moment as i'm feeling rather confuddled by all this. Iceforge seems to me to be trying to call our bluff saying he's welcome to be killed as it will help the town out, we have to weigh up the risks of him being right and that killing him will kill our sheriff or he's a bandit/mercenary trying to keep us from killing him. I doubt he'd be so positive towards it if we did actually turn our attention to getting him lynched

now thats an interesting point to bring up and brings Toht and Ch3tan into the spotlight. It is a large possibility that one of those two is the mercenary if we go along with Random and Iceforge that those were the two that were roleblocked on the first night. The problem being that the arguments are flowing so fast that it hards to get a firm grasp as events unfold.

Finally we have the quiet ones, are they quiet because they have something to hide and wish to avoid saying anything incriminating or are they just in a general state of inebriation and passed out in the saloon. Levin's vote towards Jimmy was meant to stir things up but I've yet to see that happen more than it was already.

My vote is still undecided, until i become a bit less confuddled!

I'm an old codger and I have no trouble keeping up with things, It strikes me as odd that Iceforge and random can make so many mistakes, and Uara and the rest can be so confused about things,

Makes me nervous. Seems myself, Will and Toht are the only ones that seem to be able to keep up with things, and I don't like that much either. They make me nervous you see.

By the by, I have not been deputised yet. I plan a long nap, so I guess our sheriff has about 14 hours or so to find me that badge.

Anyway its pretty clear that we have been lucky the first 2 nights with only 1 dead each.
I actually believe iceforge. don't forget that the deputy can also roleblock someone. It can be very well that toht is indeed a bandit/merc or that he got lucky of being in jail on night 1 and thus not being killed.

Don't forget, the merc probably works for his own.

Anyway, I'm not gonna vote iceforge off just to see if he was telling the truth, maybe if we had a counter claim but so far nobody counter claimed sheriff or counter claimed of being a deputy the second night.

Now I'm going back to paint my house! busy busy week for me!

I'd like to vote for Jimmy, for the quiet behaviour, but because he is quiet, i very much doubt he's guilty.

If we hang him, it's gonna be for one reason alone, no contribution and i don't know if we can afford another mistake.

Unless Iceforge is lying as pointed out by some people. In which case, you're flipping a coin between two innocents.

The thing is, people will most likely follow that vote no matter what. But, i'll try and find some "proof" of my innocence, maybe in some things said or some such.

I was just going to bring that point up! Ch3tan and Toht are only mercs if we agree with Iceforge and Randoms version of events. If they're bluffing us we'd be sentencing 2 innocents to death because if the first is innocent we'd think the other one wud be the merc.
