I just can't win can I, get suspicious looks from Toht when I support Levin's arguments and I get suspicious looks from Toht when I support Toht's arguments :p I should just go lock myself away in my house close my eyes and hope everything works itself out, trying to ignore the gunshots and sounds of lynching!

I kno i'm innocent, although as many people hav said already the only way of proving this is to hang me up, but if it needs to be done it needs to be done. Maybe I should just close my eyes and spin round in circles and whoever i stop at I vote to lynch (ok not sensible policy but it is one method :p)

Getting reactions Uara, that all. Nothing personal there. If you'd been quiet and ignored my look in your direction, would've been more suspicious.

Well this is quite a sticky situation ain't it?

I really don't see how to fix it.

one observation I have made that seems to have been overlooked is that if toht or I was a tracker then being jailed would have roleblocked us on the first night.

In honour of my now dead nemesis ECA (always drinking all the whiskey before I got to the bar).

vote Calo

He is quiet, does not contribute. ECA voted him a few times, he does not like my "agressive style" - that sounds like fear to me. Fear of saying something he might not mean to if forced to talk.

"ECA voted him a few times", not like everyone has had some votes on him so how does that mean actually anything?

No , i don't have fear to say anything, I just have to reread the whole thing to have a clear view of what happened on first day and second.

Ill talk to you guys more tonight when i get back from a funeral of my uncle who died in the mines :(

Been looking back.

So many voting for eachother here, but I still think Will's argument is so weird and bad for the town, as it scares people from voting, that i'm going to have to cast my vote on him.

Then again, it would seem strange to gamble on that when you could just post like normal people. It would be like taking a 50% risk of getting lynched instead of a ... well whatever it is when everyone posts and all things are equal."

Plus the fact that Will seems to vote for little if any reason, and to only poke things into motion or shift them completely, i'm going with my gut Vote: Will

I wasn't sure about the bandit/merc thing, but would a merc leave a message about "poor Golena" in Gohan's hand?

Also this, which everyone else has forgotten about. Some strong feelings there?

Not to mention Will conviniently "forgot" that our watcher was dead, even when i told it.

Might not hear what i'm saying, might be "forgetting stuff", either way...

I've a cousin's wedding to attend tonight (yes good things do happen in this town!) so I won't be able to get back and take part in the discussion until tomorrow most likely. I'll unvote for now so I don't unknowingly contribute to something bad in case the situation changes while I'm gone.

Unvote

We'll try and not make hasty judgements until you return. Know a town where i used to live and they decided to kill someone when he was away, got back, got shot, turned out he was innocent with proof even.

Don't want that happening again.

But, regarding my vote on Will, the thing that i'm considering most is motive. There is only one person in this town, who hasn't suspected Iceforge for lying and that is Will. I have to ask myself, wouldn't it be a perfect idea for a bad guy to support Iceforge, not doubt, and then off them during the night? Gives himself safety by siding with the claimed Sheriff and gives other people the added feel that the Sheriff actually is who he says he is.

I know our Sheriff is a smart man and knows exactly what i mean.

Or else I was just pointing something out in response to someone's question.

Not to mention Will conveniently "forgot" that our watcher was dead, even when I told it.

What was convenient about forgetting the watcher was dead? If I was scum, what conceivable advantage would I have gained from that mistake? Nothing whatsoever.

Your case against me is that I believe Iceforge? I've stated my reasons pretty clearly why I believe him, and I'm not the only person who does.

In fact, I've stated pretty clear reasons why I've picked my votes each time. Your case against me is very tenuous.

Or else I was just*snip*e is very tenuous.

The convenience comes from people trusting you more 'cause you're a "goof" who "forgot". When taken into account with all the other things you've said during the days, it all adds up to the same "oh don't mind me i'm just poking people in my direction" way.

My case is that you don't doubt one bit about Iceforge, not atleast seeming to and base your "facts" on other persons claims.

Does this make any sense at all?

The sheriff could reveal themselves, and protect themselves tonight. We'd hang Iceforge, a good end to the day. Since this hasn't happened, I'm happy to accept Iceforge is the sheriff.
So, I explained myself earlier. It seems pretty logical to me. If you want to attack my logic, go for it, but stop with these pointless attacks that don't have any basis in fact.

Besides, you are totally barking up the wrong tree if you think I'm scum.

It's not logical when you're about to hang two people with basis of "well the real sheriff didn't show up so i'll believe this guy", which would, again, be very convenient for you.

No sheriff shows up, oh look, Icefroge dies during the night.
Real sheriff shows up(if iceforge wasn't) and look, oops, he dies during the night.

How very good for you.

I've got as good as a basis to vote for you then you have on me, so don't even try that.

I'd say hang you and if i'm wrong, hang me the next day. That way you won't hang two innocents based on Iceforges actions.

Now i'm getting hanged because Iceforge locked me up?

I have to say following the gut is a dangerous thing. I do think you've played things close to your chest and only piped up enough to stay below the radar Will.

I am really struggling to build a case against anyone other than Iceforge, but I think it is pretty safe to say that although hugely inconsistent and plain wrong about somethings, he is telling the truth.

Gah, it really is not helping with Down, Jimmy and Calo still being very quiet.

I'd lean towards Uara, Will or Levin right now, but it is unfair to kill one of them when the other three are non-participants.

mod can you review the activity rule, be a shame to waste our one kill on a non-active player

Well, it seems a bit pointless to dissect every post made when I have you and Toht here to talk endlessly. ;)

And below the radar very much seems to be not talking around here. I'm well above that level. :p

Its only a waste of a kill if the non-active person turns out to be innocent. Although the problem being is there's not enough evidence to be certain of any of those 3 being innocent or guilty. I kno i've been quite quiet but as Will said
Will said:

Otherwise all we would be saying is the same points that you have made. But still, been saying more than 3 of our dear townfolk!

More of your tomfoolery, or is it willfoolery, and trickery.

My vote stays because if you weren't guilty, you'd actually try and discuss the matter instead of go "Oh well i don't have to talk about it."

I'm not really sure how to respond to constant character assasination. No matter what I say, you'll try and twist it, since you are trying to save your own neck. Which I understand.

I'm not convinced you are even the merc, I'm happy to admit that. Staking my life on your guilt would be stupid. But I've not got anything better to go on, and we need some sort of conclusion to the day. If someone has a better case, state it. Though this "hang Will" case isn't really convincing me I'm afraid.

I'm doing no such thing as twisting and about saving my neck, hell, i said you can hang me if you wish and i can even vote for myself, just to prove the doubters wrong. It's not 'cause i'm frantic to save my weasel hide.

I am ofcourse trying to save my life though, as should anyone who hasn't done anything wrong. Kinda why i'm wondering why the apathy towards me accusing you, or do you simply think "they won't vote for me"?

I'd rather this day go on for ages and the blaming go back and forth then to hang someone innocent AGAIN.

Anyway, I'm still thinking the best lead we got is the Tohtori/Ch3tan thing, but it doesn't matter which direction we want to go in because we have so many people shutting their traps and not committing to anything because they are confused and need to "read things through".

And since I unvoted before I went to the wedding party in case something revolutionary happened, I may as well put it back now since nothing did happen.

Vote: Tohtori

It's funny how you two put blame on everyone else and yet vote for me.

And i'd like a clearing on the whole Ch3tan and me thing because like i said, at the moment it seems you guys are hanging me 'cause Iceforge did his job.

Damned if you do?

Sheriff protects someone and you get hung for being a killer.
