Dear wanker,
.

Calling people wanker, and swearing at them lots in a debate or forum is an insta-win for the opposition. No one would take what you have written seriously when you start like that. It serves no purpose except to show how poorly you can express yourself and how you have to resort to namecalling to enforce your reasoning. If you disagree with what someone has said the idea is to deface or counter the argument made by the other person, not to attack them in the mannar of a very young child.

Oh, and I do agree that we should attempt to resovle these issues in game as far as possible, but your estiamte of 99% of people being reasonable is way out, youve proven yourself that you personaly respond to someone who is concerned about bug abusing with "wanker, eat shit etc...".

Nope not been banned for anything and Boni for your information i am just as concerned about bug abuse as the next person is. I myself have complained about a radar user in the past to rightnow but only because i do not have a line of direct communication with the enemy realms and only after taking advice from my peeps in game.

However, i am concerned when people from my own realm feel that they need to go complain to rightnow about fellow realm mates, without first trying to get the person responsible of abusing and maybe speaking to there GM. I find it hard to believe that the poster of this thread got abuse from the persons guildmaster and if so name and shame, i thought that was one of the uses of this forum. Reporting people is the last last last option for me.

Also for your information i have not abused anyone in game with words such as wanker etc as in general i have found that people tend not to be too responsive to this way of speaking and also there are many young kids playing this game.

I know this isn't the particular bug this thread was on about but :

Traldor's Temple

Traldor, one of the personalities of the Atlantean world, found out after many unfortunate experiences that his roof is not as rainproof as it should be. Certain adventures, using strange magic which he finally identified as a "texture hole", were able to pierce his defences. Traldor, who is obviously full of resources, called powerful magic to him and solved the problem. He is in fact chuckling away thinking about the next person that should try to use that trick again…
A reminder on this subject : if you identify a "texture hole" bug, that is you manage to get to a place where you shouldn't normally be able to get to (for example by passing through a rock or a wall), you must immediately report it on RightNow ! Continuing to use this bug in order to profit, or make others profit from it, constitutes a bug exploiting offence and is punishable.

Take heed of the last paragraph
