Why are the soloers gone?

half the problem is that people take things far to seriously, i know that if i dont kill the person with the red writing above their head my wife and children will not be raped and murdered and my towns and farms will be safe enough. the people in mid and alb are gamers just like me, they just picked a different realm, i dont have to kill everyone i see, in fact i will quite happily let them go if they pose no threat to me, be it low RR, a solo'er (the very rare times i am grouped) or not up for a fight and i definatly wont spoil their potential fun by jumping in and adding on them, whats the point, RPs mean nothing if you out number people all the time, just numbers on a stat sheet.

But at same time the people playing the other realms wont die in rl if they get killed either So the seriousness bit goes both ways imo. i always disliked extreme in any direction, And i think getting angry to the point of abusing someone for whatever reason in a game is madness.
But seems many agree on this though.

- getting steam rolled by a FG isn't funny,
- gettint steam rolled by a stealther zerg isn't funny,
- playing 1 hour for 1000 realm points as a RR2 isn't funny,
- the game isn't balanced towards soloing, there are classes one can never beat.

Respect to all the people out there who make it worth while aynway.
The ones saying this is a war game and so on, you need your head checked or should read a bit of Sun Tzu for example.

I am quickly discovering that quite a few people on here that say they are solo non adding players are talking rubbish, spent every night the last couple of weeks running solo and have a had some good fights but have also had those exact same people add on fights that their realm mate is losing against me, not sure if they do it because thier rr6+ friend is about to lose to a rr3 or it is a case of well he is enemy and rather me dead than realm member.

But it looks to me most of the people here who say they run solo and dont add are just saying it to get some kind of status in the game where infact they run in packs and add as much as the next guy.

But there is no rules against adding or zerging or 2v1 or 3v1 so we die rebuff and head out again, i still enjoy just wish people would stop trying so hard to put across the way they play when infact it is not true at all.

its was ok last night in like the crim bowl or the route to bolg was heavy traffic. I mean sometimes there was like 40 hibs or mids or albs. Huge zergs and waves. But there was still a lot of soloers out and like you could work off the fringes. Sure you get nailed a lot by tag teams, fg adds, or just caught by the zerg. but there was definetly some fun and good fights to be had in all this chaos. And its not exactly the end of the world to die and rebuff and fight again.

Im still playing my infil solo. and agree with you pre 1.82 there were lots of soloers.

but for each day its gets more and more zergy :s..

cant remember who but someone is trying to raise the Solo areas around, ppl simply plan on a forum ( cant remember site) what area we gonna do solo fights. both Stealth/visible classes....uke:

On your NS wasn't it? I think I remember that one, I really must start recording some fights, I have had classics. Especially whenever I meet Gahn on my Paladin. We're usually going at it for a good 10 minutes, and I usually end up with RSI from teh twisting

I solo 95% plus of the time and have done from RR1, i haven't really noticed it any harder or easier lately (Always hard), come to think about it even OF wasn't that easy ,unless you were wiling to sit at your own mile gate all day.

P.S. Thanks to CENSI for a great fight last night, next time maybe you will be eating dirt.

As i see it, solo atm is very difficult for many reasons..there r not many fg vs fg fights so fgs dont roam alot in open areas... so we have ppl camping at bridges/towers ( thing that is normal) ........ Now from the day i remember nf released usually the most active areas were beno/bled.... and dc was an area that u could solo....90% of the game population is looking for the easy rps.. that is something that i can understand too....so we have either low rr hib zerg camping dc either fgs of albs/mids camping or roaming there to get there easy rps.. some1 said that honor is the realm rank.... i think not... for me honor is about how u got ur RR and not what RR u r.... ppl like Theodon who i saw him solo after his rr10/rr11 for me its not something big...when i see him with my guild we usually leave him but i dont remember him doing the same with me when he was with his grp before he start to solo...
Atm we have ppl camping dc/bled/beno ( both mids/hibs/albs) and w8 till some1 pop and get their 200rps..i am a stealther and i dont have speed or anything like that so for me runinng till dc or beno and get zerged or added or leeched makes me to cba as any1 else doing the same... using abilities or ras to kill some1 and at 5% some1s else kills me also makes me cba.... but this is part of the game... i QQ inside me and the only thing i can do is to mark the name into my mind and when i got the chance to try pay them back with the same coin... i've been solo for quite alot and i want to believe that i have earned some "respect" among the few that have left from our kind...and also i have met ppl ingame that with their way have earned my respect ...... i dont expect that none will add/zerg/leech me cause we dont think all with the same way ...... but as they have right to add/leech/zerg i have the right to whine or to qq ( point me where in CoC says that i cannot to)
I've meet trios/duos ingame and that something that i can understand... i also duo with a rl friend sometimes late at night and when we r drunk
Meeting killsimba and CO or Lxn and CO etc etc etc etc i know i will die but prolly i will take some1 with me but and again i dont QQ ( alot atleast) cause i know that none of them can kill me 1vs1 Killing some1 when u r 2vs1 or 3vs1 etc etc has a challenge rate for sure ( lol ) but i thing that trying to kill some1 1vs1 has a bigger challenge rate ...atleast u will know how far u can reach..For me skill is to fight with the weapons that the game and the class ( that i personaly choose and NONE forced me to do ) provides me and try to do the best i can with that....ofc i know that my class against some classes has the upper hand and against some other classes there r very few chances to win them, and i am ok with that.
The thing that usually makes me log is the adding part....having a nice fight and in the middle of it some1 nukes me or shoots me or stuns me makes me piss off... atleast let me finish my fight and kill me afterwards... fyi if u do that u will also get rps!! ( except the case i die first )
Now getting steamrolled by fgs is part of the game too but jumping off boat and use SL to kill me its something that makes me uke: ( fao Vulcan's/Vriezer's/Magon's/Kalammer's etc etc etc grps)

Now few words for the few of our kind....
Keep the spirit up, dont give up and cross ur fingers that our numbers will increase.......

well was not too bad last night, but I guess I have crossed 30 deaths today in 3 hours and about 2k RPs made

Mids was the worst to kill me last night in 8vs1, tho today it was 2-3vs1 at the bridge by DC

(I figured and im not complaining, just supporting Manis point)

But /blush at all the hugs and kisses last night

I tried to be at same spot as much as possible not to cause confusion just leading to more deaths

somtimes i bring out my sb for a few solo runs,,, but i tend to get added on every single fight.. most of the time, it's scouts tbh. When i've had a run or 4, which usually going to be me dead all 4 times, either by adds (3 out of 4) or finding a silly high rr infil/ns who jumps me (Arauddry, Spinesprout etc etc) .. When i've been online for about lets say 3 hours and look on my stats and see a 3, sometimes 4 lenght rps point, i get a bit depressed I dont really see much soloers around, or at least i get added on every fight
