Who were you before you played DAOC? did you play another online game before you reached up to grab that copy of DAOC?

I'm interested to know what other online games people played in the years before DAOC.

I myself had played Ultima Online for 2 years before i decided to follow friends to move to DAOC, only to find myself staying here while my friends quickly went back to UO, leaving me here all by my lonesome hehe.

Unfortunatly the screen shots i had of my chars are long lost, so these only pics of chars i have now.

Would be nice to see screenies of peeps chars from Everquest, Anarchy and UO.

Those pics make me glad i never played UO, they have to be the campest PC chars ive ever seen! Talk about looking like they belong in Barbies Gay Fashion for the Elderly board game or sommit.

Been Whoodoo since Planetarion round 1. Made it up spur of the moment and stuck with it.

For my chars compared to some of the others i tried to look for originality, and in UO it was kinda hard as u were restricted.

You say u played Planetarion, played that for a year or so, was a really fun game, but when they changed it to having to pay for it i couldn't be arsed with it anymore hehe.

Played Diablo as Misato, who was a Rogue, then went onto Diablo 2 as Kamanth and was in the D2 division of the Dark Knights before coming to DAoC and making a DAoC division of the guild.

The name Kamanth was already taken at the time so I made Kagato instead.

Bpbill - in various other games namely non roleplaying types ie 1nsane, Quake etc.

Was Khefru in UT and then in TFC (mostly solly) in a clan called SnD.

The in UO Europa I was Khefru 7 x LGM tactics, mace, parry, resist spells, healing, archery and axe (If my memory serves me). Also had an LGM crafter in Smithing, carpentry, tailoring, mining, fletching called Menkaure.

Then I came to DAOC with my guild from uo (Clan Bearhawk). We were going to go Mid after playing hib in beta, but someone sulked and said he wanted to stay in Hib. I've still not forgiven him

I spent 3 years on UO before starting on DAOC - and tbh before they nerfed UO with trammel it was the best game I ever played. Now I've finished with DAOC due to TAO and am gameless
