I drove over 200 miles sorting out the mess made by another engineer over the last couple of days. The problem is he's been with the company long enough to know better.
I got home to wish Zenith Jr. a happy birthday, make dinner and have the microwave cooker blow up. It was spectacular and there's a big charred mess where the magnetron should be.

Took delivery of 7 pallets of Cisco UCS equipment, fucking heavy things the blade chassis' (swear they lead line the bastards), put them in rack, switched on the fabric and network switches and listened to someone bitching about the noise, told him to plug his earphones in and turn up the volume. Also started building an AD system to bring some form of centralised policy/management into the workplace. Still working on it remotely via OpenVPN. As they say TOYS!
