Uses of apostraphes -

"aint" = ain't (?!)
"gcse" = "GCSE" should be in capitals as it is an acronym.
"english" = English (capitals again)
"mmmm" = hmmm, this would be an inquisitive hum rather than a murmer
"you're" = your (aaaaaargh!)
"'cos" = no apostrophe, "cos" is shortened form
"Don't", "I'll", "'em" = correct, you're learning

Hate to rain on your parade, but acronyms have to be initials of words to make ANOTHER word to be an acronym. Otherwise it's just initials. As far as I know Gcse isn't a word.

I recently saw someone ask what ffs means... Not sure whether it was in IRC, or in a forum, however whoever it was was using fs...
I get the impression it was here actually... Not sure in what thread, or by who...
Ffs is still dominant on Gamesnet, and presumably US forums. I don't think i've ever seen someone use "fs" on Gamesnet infact...

To get back to the topic...
There was an upgrade of the forum software/servers today Wij, and the database was rolled back by about an hour or so, hence you losing the posts you made during said time.
